ban online casino streamers

Wow this is a good thread, bringing out a very good subject!

My thoughts of streamers are like this.

1. They often want to view themself as a ”hobby” player, when in fact they are a huge part of a multibillion industry.

they are very sensitive and fast to ”protect” there brand.. they are also very fast to explain that they dont earn almost anything on gambling from affiliates deal.. there arent any transparancy... they hide Behind the ” contract”.

also very fast to explain that they spend almost full time work for us viewers, editing playing etc.

i find it fascinating that they work for free.

2. The fact that casinoground is a multimillion company and the streamers dont get there share is also amazing... since they dont as they claim dont get almost anything...

3. Casinoground is a smart way to gather a group of popular apparantly hard working and apparantly almost free working streamers...

4. Streamers are very fast on making sure that they are not considered big affiliates. Since they Keep stating that they dont earn anything from there deals.

5. Streamers are very fast on bashing other streamers that dont belong to casinogrounds, nickslots are like on a crusade. Calling them fake streamers. I can understand that since they apparantly dont earn anything themselfs from affiliate deals..

6. Streamers are like the Gun industry , they dont want any responsibility on What influence they have on the gambling problem.. and why should they?? They dont earn anything , they work fulltime for free on there ”hobby”

7. There are some streamers ”Rocknrolla that Seems honest,

the rest is tbh just pushing the industry while apparantly not earning anything themself?
Regarding 2, I can confirm that I don't get a cent from CG and why would I be entitled to it?

@Slotplayer Its all about the money mate deny it all u want.

The CG streamers have obviously sealed a juicy deal with HighRoller because hand on heart are u telling me that it is one of the best casinos out there? High roller is better than casumo or videoslots?  They are pushing that casino like mad.  3 streamers using it at the same time?

Also are you surprised people question where the big streamers income comes from?  nickslots and kim can deposit fortunes every day yet claim they are not rich, would u agree  that someone who can deposit  2-10k a week on slots is not rich?  even 5k a week x 52 is 260k a year.  You and huggehugg are the only cg streamers that actually play with normal stakes,

Nobody would ever call streamers responsible even if they knew your bank balance.

@Slotplayer you keep on saying people would need to search for gambling websites specifically, what about all the streamers who also play/host games such as fifa, pubg and call of duty?

Rocknrollaaa has clearly stated he wants no part of being in casinogrounds videos as he can probably see were this forum is going.

Why have Leovegas bought this forum? because Nick and Kim are nice guys? no because they can squeeze every penny out of people.  Its funny how Leovegas's past behaviour has been swept under the carpet.

Schh its a secret that streamers profit from there hobby,  how dare u accuse our hard working for free streamers for earning money???

just read the casinogrounds forum about all the threads from people leaving gambling , they also always refer to a streamer aswell ”enjoyed” the stream etc,... casinogrounds is great but i lack the transparancy and the truthfulness , its become a bit to much hippocracy..

for me the evidence is clear lots of threads of people quitting gambling but in a fucked up way ”Thanks” the streamers for the show... dont the streamers see the irony and there part of the industry problem???

And for me its strange how they are so protective of the business if they dont get anything from it as they claim ?

I can't comment on High Roller because I don't play there and have no intention to do so.
Cant comment cause you know exactly what is going on!  Nickslots, Letsgiveitaspin and David Labowsky have secured a tasty little deal to draw in as many punters as possible.  No time before did 3 casinogrounds streamers use the same casino for live streams.  Kim was leo, nick was risk/casumo and david was superlenny.

You make some good points.

For a start look how secretive the Leovegas deal was and you get shot down in flames if you dare ask a question about it.

Never good to speculate regarding what I do and don't know.

You asked whether High Roller is better than others and I gave you my answer.

@Slotplayer ok I am asking you

Do you think the 3 streamers currently using high roller sealed a very good deal with them and thats why they are pushing that casino hard on stream? To earn as much as possible?

I agree on the part regarding HighRoller aswell, as i have stated in some previous post here on CG. New casino released, has many flaws and not 100% ready for release. yet, CG in their review give highroller almost top scrore, and way better than many of the other casinos. They also moved Highroller to the top of the listed casinos bonuses on this website, and most profiled streamers on CG is now streaming from highroller. Lets take a look at the review:

bonuses 5/5 (only one welcome bonus, and wagering is 45x. There are TONS of casinos there with more welcome bonuses and way lower wagering. and you give it 5/5?)
website 5/5
mobile casino 4/5
support 4/5
payment 5/5 (really? not even supporting skrill/neteller.. yet its 5 out of 5? will it be rated 6/5 when those payments are added?)

I don't say that Highroller isnt a good casino, i think its average. But, there are some way ahead of them. This review is in my opinion the best "proof" of how the streaming industry is a moneymaker business, and not just a hobby. CG had an incoming of 4.1 milion SEK (410.000€) during the 3rd quater of 2017, probably affiliate money from the links on this site. All users who signed up with one link, is not a returning customer untill they sign up with another link. So, for the streamers it would always be good business to move onto a new casino regulary to bring new customers to that new casino aswell. If a streamer played at only one casino, they would miss out on many new signups.

Business is business, and everyone wants to do it. I find it strange that those streamers who participate in this comunity dont get a cent from what seems to be a money machine. I dont know how their view is not this case.

Anyway, thanks for reading my thoughs on this. I dont state whats right and wrong, i just speak about my thoughs and views on things i've noticed on this forum for a while.

I addressed the HR casino deal in another post here -

Yes they secured a deal to play there which is absolutely fine.

Should they then rank it so highly... well thats part of the deal so honest and integrity goes out of the window a bit there.

Was it fair that they got exclusivity over any other streamers to play there for the first month. Not IMO but as a business deal it was VERY good for them and i dont blame them 1 bit.

They wouldn't play at a non legit casino.

As to their deals, you are asking the wrong person as I don't know the particulars and I am not one for speculating.

By being part of this community I gain exposure and hopefully more viewers. That is good enough for me.

@Josh Green you adressing that in another post must have passed my eyes, thanks for clearing that up. My suspicion somewhat confirmed, i guess. So, what does that say about the reviewes on CG? I guess it's not only the slots that is rigged.

I do however feel safe when playing on the casinos listed here, and signing up trough links here would mean (i hope!) i get some extra help from CG if any disagreements with me and the casinos should happen.

HighRoller has no business getting a review like that.

The same could be said from Leovegas, it has the following reviews

6.9/10 the pogg

6.4/10 askgamblers

3/10 trust pilot

it does have good reviews at smaller sites

not saying it is a bad casino but there are a shit load of complaints about them,  also there dodgy behavior in the past.

Yet because Kim has an exclusive deal to him and Nickslots they are the best thing since sliced bread. No way should they be rated as good as on casinogrounds.

I wouldn't go by what Askgamblers states. They even promote rogue casinos!!

Any rating is dependant on the criteria used and is always going to be subjective no matter the site that rates it. For that reason it is always wise to read reviews on a number of different sites.

@Lokus @nomoregamblingstreams

I thought your last few posts were particularly thought provoking and points well made.

I'm slightly torn at the moment because the OP does pretty bad job of putting their case across which made me initially dismissive.

I'm further torn by the fact that I watch a lot of streams and don't want to be critical of people I genuinely like but sadly I'm coming to the view that they may indeed be complicit in something which could harmful and deceitful. I'm also coming to the view that as a viewer perhaps I'm party to that as well.

I will way this in my defence - when I initially started out watching streams, those that I watched were first and foremost hobbists in nature.  The rampant commercialisation which is present today, came later and I've been passive to that change. But where as once upon a time it might have been possible to relate to a hobbyist gambler and their sessions it's increasingly the case that streamers are playing with bankrolls which are a distortion far removed from a normal gamblers reality i.e. who apart from streamers are getting +EV deals four or five times a week with a match bonus of £500+.  For the same reason that you can never beat a slot over the long run due to the house edge the opposite is true for streamers and +EV deals - over the long run they cannot lose but I doubt many viewers have this understanding.

I'm genuinely quite deflated about those CG streamers I follow right now.  The money side of things has tainted things....I want those independent, hobbyist, "do no evil" streamers back but those days are gone :-(

Well Said josh!

I dont mind streamers getting paid.

i Said so in prevoius threads..

what i do mind is when they are trying to come out as hard working regular folks , spending there own cash playing on the same terms as the rest of us. Trying to get ”deals” for us that are better if we use there links. Trying to convince us that they dont earn money from the rest of us, or money from affiliations , that they are doing all this work just to entertain us.

recommending casinos on a non bias way, even if the casinos tbh have worse deals , customer support, wagering requirements then non affiliated casinos. With the words they Will become better....

bashing Other streamers accusing them to be dishonest....

and there is alot more to be Said..

as long as streamers are honest, transparant i dont see a problem of them making money from me using there links supporting there streams.

But this hippocracy is just getting old...

It is about the money now which is a shame, its not regular guys playing slots anymore,

Its streamers trying to make as much money  as possible either through stream links or directing them to this forum

Sad but true.

Most  bonuses are ev-

Even a 100% match with 35x bonus wagering is ev- and that is the most common one streamers get from what I can see.

@Slotplayerbut technically you could class leovegas as rogue considering their history in giving out fake accounts, were is the 100% proof they still dont do it?
