@RyanMcSploogerhow many times has nickslots or as he is known to alot of people nickshits said on stream even his own bird tells him he plays too much.  Nick actually said u were talking utter shite then admitted u had a point regarding giveaways, wat a hypocrite he is, he never even knew the terms and conditions of one of the casinos he was promoting lol, all that guy is interested in is collecting coin  off his daft viewers, love it how he never shuts up about handing out ps4's even though he was earning big time out it, made it look like it was out his own pocket.  I think nick is looking for a knighthood

First warning @TommyBhoy if you’re going to throw nothing but insults around. Remember this thread is kept open so you can share your thoughts on casino streaming whether that be positive or negative, and it’s not here for you to slag off streamers.

Keep it on topic please.

@Nick but u allow ur viewers to hound and abuse viewers who dare question u

didnt see u stepping in there
Happens all the time. Should of seen the abuse I got in Rollas chat the other night. It's allowed to happen to those who oppose them in anyway but we get silenced. It will happen here too. Probably get banned soon. Nothing new for me there.

I sincerely hope you're not suggesting I had anything to do with this. As soon as you wrote this I had someone under a fake account comment in video about me trolling on a stream earlier.

This is nothing to do with me and unless you have evidence to prove it please don't suggest it. I assume you were because you quoted me in saying this "community is toxic"

To reiterate, this was not me and I don't know who did it. What usernames were they under? If you could tell me I would probably know who it was
Ryan - I never said it was you. I only used your quote of a toxic community. Be honest about it, those that made that comment belong to your side of the argument so you have some arseholes on your side of the fence so to speak.

You may not be able to do anything about these idiots but they are not helping, I am telling you.

@RyanMcSplooger

I watched your live stream video and you were praising this chap that commented on one of my videos.

Do you want to be associated with twats like that?

Apparently they were using my name? Is that true?

I think it's probably someone trying to get more abuse sent my way. Will have a look at the video now in question as the person commenting to me as told me where to look.

Either way, it wasn't me and they don't represent me. The same way dodgy streamers don't represent you.

As for the person you've took a screenshot of he's always been very sensible on my stream and supports my cause. I don't condone anyone saying that but that's an issue with you and him. There's not a lot I can do besides asking them not to send abuse your way. Unfortunately it's because they get abused themselves they feel the need to. Not by you personally but they get silenced a lot.

Well they were "signing" their sentences with your name using user names insulting every single streamer going. It was a constant barrage of immature bull crap. And it all started after one particular person was told that affiliation will not be discussed on my chat and was referred to an article on my website. The floodgates then opened!

I know that it is an issue between me and that user that posted my comment but the mere fact that you have idiots such as him supporting your cause should give you perhaps a little insight with who you are dealing with. Your "community" is perhaps as toxic if not even more toxic than the streaming community you call toxic.

Just another thing:

And the same people that watched Paul D's stream are now watching Ryan's stream and will be watching the next person's anti gambling stream.

I have no problem with that. Each to their own so to speak.

Shall we call them obsessed addicts hopping from one anti gambling to another anti gambling stream just like slot addicts are hopping from one to the next gambling stream?

See the irony of it?

My final comment on this.

I tried to engage with those that don't like streaming / affiliation. But after today's stream I have realised what a bunch of immature people I am dealing with.

Troll account after troll account being created with user names that are not only immature but quite plainly insulting to others. I felt sorry for my single poor moderator that had to deal with the behaviour of this person / these people.

I will now join the rest and keep myself to myself and enjoy the streaming including affiliation links. If you don't like it, to be honest I have now long gone beyond caring.

And for some to say the "streaming community is toxic". Sort your own community out first!
You should see what your 'poor moderators' are talking under certain comment sections during certain streams. Pathetic. Of course you will not change your mind and I guarantee that you will keep posting here. And of course you will push your crappy affiliation links and continue to lure people in. It's convenient. You get to gamble and feed your addiction while making decent side profit out of it.

Shouldn't you be studying law rather than watching my streams as you appear to know who my moderators are on my stream. Pathetic.

And I will continue to post (not push) my affiliation links so people that want to can click on it (no luring in involved). It is very convenient indeed - well spotted.

I continue to gamble to my budget (I can stop when I want to - shame you and your ilk can't) and if I make a profit from affiliation than happy bloody days.

What are you planning to do? Become a defence lawyer? How would you sleep at night defending a person you know to be guilty in court in the hope he or she gets off. Maybe even on a technicality. It is allowed by law but it is rather immoral, isn't it.

And I am not even going to apologise for getting personal - it is you who started it by calling me an addict.

Slotplayer are you an addict either currently or reformed? Be honest because the internet is a big place and I'm sure if you've mentioned you had a problem in the past it will be out there.

It's weird really that I have evidence of at least 5 or 6 big streamers saying they are reformed addicts. It's funny really how they now are all magically reformed now they have money to fund their addiction.

It's very irresponsible that casinos allow addicts to promote their brand. I will be pushing for this to change. No one can take a casino seriously when they say they want responsible players and then use addicts to get sign ups.

Going to ask you the same question as I asked slotplayer nick. I've heard some things and been sent stuff but I don't believe it until someone tells me.

Have you ever suffered from gambling addiction? Past or present that is. I've spoken to some people who have messaged you in the past regarding addiction who said you used to have a problem. If this is true do you think it's responsible letting an addict (past or present) promote casinos?

Anyone that gambles a lot can get addicted, streaming regularly means you get the highs and lows and hitting nothing for weeks can tilt even the most experienced gambler so sure i’ve done a £1000 deposit or £2000 offstream on big bets to try and hit something. But i would never gamble and put my loved ones at risk ie spending money that should be for bills, food, mortgage etc

Unfortunately you get people who fall into this category and when they message me offstream on Facebook etc i always tell them to self exclude immediately and to stop watching streams/videos etc

You have to actively search for gambling content on YouTube where as on TV it’s in you face whether you want it to be there or not.

I could send people to this thread who ive advised to stop gambling immediately if they are ruining their lives, can show screenshots if you don’t believe me.

Last thing i want is to refer someone who has nothing into the world of gambling, and from a pure financial point of view it’s bad for business as i never go pure cpa deals at Casinos where you make big money for each referral, i go the revshare hybrid route.

So to answer your question, i’m not addicted to gambling as it’s something i’ve done since a teen playing the fruit machines down the arcades in Scarborough and that’s what got me into slot machines. And i only gamble with money i can afford to do so with, and imo i have it under control.

I think this where we disagree. In my eyes you dont need to be gambling more than you can afford to be classified as an addict. The money is somewhat irrelevant. Addicts get their thrill from playing the slots and games. It doesn't matter if they win or lose, it's the fact they can't stop playing.

You should me more responsible in that you should never go in tilt if you're serious about representing a casino. It's not a fair representation of the average gambler at all, the average gambler with no addiction has strict limits and walks away.

At least we agree that people have to actively seek this content, if you're actively seeking such content you're already at risk in my eyes. The average person wouldn't do this and you surely just be aware of the large amounts of addicts as you seem them in your chat.

Streamers have already admitted their addiction in many cases. Do you think they should be affiliates? I met up with the bandit on Friday and he said that answer was a clear no. There's really no argument for allowing a former or current addict to represent a casino in my eyes.

I would like to add I would be happy if you made it very clear that addicts should not be watching your streams. Also, I've suggested promoting gamban and a few others are going to run with this.

You're more than welcome to search the internet. I help you with a page on my website: http://www.slotplayers.co.uk/2017/04/14/taking-a-very-long-break-from-playing-slots/

Your definition of addiction is different to mine and the dictionary. Gambling addiction is defined as:

an urge to gamble continuously despite harmful negative consequences or a desire to stop

The difference is that I have a set budget and know when to stop. The above linked article is actually testimony that I recognised that it may become a problem if I didn't stop. So I did stop for a while. I would argue these are the actions of a responsible gambler because an addict would have carried on, just like you did before you gave gambling up (didn't you say on one of your streams you were homeless because of it?).

Gambling is a very expensive hobby. And that is what I treat it as - a hobby.

I work 4 days then have 4 days off. During the 4 days that I work, I don't touch the slots. During my 4 rest days (other than Sunday's) I gamble during the day. Never at night and Sunday's because that is when I spent time with my wife.

So that is my answer. I am no gambling addict I am a responsible gambler that has their gambling under control. Just as it should be because I do know the consequences if it does go out of control.

As for advertising Gamban. Will do that, no problem with it. But having said that, why didn't you link to it in your latest video? Maybe you forgot so quid-pro-quo?

"A compulsive, or pathological, gambler is someone who is unable to resist his or her impulses to gamble"

According to your logic, a billionaire could gamble all day every day and because it has no severe consequences to their financial state they are not an addict. That's not true is it.

You say you don't gamble off stream or go above your budget, this not the case for the majority of streamers who continue to 'tilt' or gamble off stream.

I forgot to put the link up for gamban but there's positive news in that following my meet up with the bandit he's going to actually pay for up to 100 people a month to use this service.

Do you think an addict past or present should be representing a casino as an affiliate?

@Nick Dont u dare warn me, Im telling the truth mate.  You are a very arrogant person and many people think so.

Also why do u never step in and stop non sheep from being hounded, abused and banned?

I will tell u why because ur mods are low life addicts and u feed their cravings.

If u think for one second ur not a terrible influence on people then u seriously need ur head examined.

Strangely enough  I just dropped an email off to the developers of Gamban to enquire whether I can buy licenses on others behalf so I could offer to buy it for people who struggle to pay for it. I will await their response if this is possible. If it is, I am more than happy to buy a license for those that are serious giving up. I won't buy them willy nilly because you are going to have some trolls making me spend on licenses they are never going to use so there will be conditions attached to it.

Should an addict represent a casino as an affiliate? Providing they promote casinos in the right manner and by the law (and streaming is just a small part of the affiliation world, there are thousands upon thousands of affiliate websites about) I don't see a problem with it.

You are concentrating your "war" against the streamers but forget about all those other websites. How many of these are run by addicts? How many of these are run by gamblers? Look at "Askgamblers" as an example. I bet your bottom dollar their revenue from affiliation runs in the millions a year, yet not a peep said about that. And I wouldn't touch some of the casinos they promote with a barge pole!!!

As to your definition of a gambling addict, it is pretty close to mine. Money is irrelevant. If you can afford and are prepared to lose what ever amount on gambling you are not a problem gambler. It is if either of the two conditions are not met (the afford and prepared) but despite of that you continue you are a problem gambler / addict. So even if you could afford it but are not prepared to lose it, you shouldn't be gambling.

Don't i dare warn you?

You're using our website throwing accusations and harassment towards other streamers, so continue doing this and you'll be removed from the community.
