ban online casino streamers

An update from Gamban regarding blocking my Youtube and Twitch channels. They said that it currently can't be done. I am not sure why but an opportunity missed in my opinion as problem gamblers and those that want to quit gambling should not be watching gambling related stuff on social media. This piece of software can aid with it because it apparently already successfully blocks access to the casino sites.

I am trying to get an  understanding why it can't be implemented to find a workaround. If the software for example searches the web page for certain key words and then stops it being displayed, then there is an easy solution available.

Not reading the whole thread but why should people have to give up something they enjoy i.e watching streamers and signing up getting good bonuses playing at casinos etc just because some of you can't control yourselves ? Take responsibility for yourself and mind your own business rather than trying to get up in everyone else's . Let's live in a world where everything is over regulated and controlled/limited just because you are too weak minded to refrain from dumping your rent money on a slot machine just because you saw someone win big on it on twitch . So pathetic

Whats pathetic is the way the streamers draw in vulnerable people.  Its a mental ilness you plonker.  Your attitude is pathetic.

Anything can trigger a problem gambler. Simple things as walking past a bookies, seeing a gambling advert on TV, see a gambling board watching a football match, watching ANY gambling material on Youtube. The list goes on and on.

Why are the streamers being singled out? None of the genuine ones want a problem gambler being referred to a casino. Why should those that can control their gambling and enjoy the streams suffer by streams being banned?

You want a nanny state where everything that could possibly be harmful to anyone is removed ?  People have issues , that's life , grow up . If they weren't gambling addicts they would be something else harmful to themselves . Have you seen homeless people and alcoholics and drug addicts etc You gonna solve all that as well ? How about world hunger ?

Chairslots made a video and hes right u are in a grubby business and deserve no respect, what is the issuse with u saying im slotplayer and when i stream im advertising casinos in the hope of earning dosh through signups

Have you even seen my streams? There is a big fuck off banner at the top of the screen welcoming people to sign up at whatever casino I am streaming.

My description on Youtube says:

"By signing up at the casino using one of my links, you will be financially supporting the stream."

My Youtube about page says:

"You can support my channel by clicking the affiliate links. By you then playing at the casino, I earn commission on your losses."

Isn't that clear enough? I make no secret that I make money off referring people to casinos and unless you're blind it is obviously clear that a casino is being advertised during the stream!

Hardly luring them in. It is an invitation for them to sign up, no different than any other advert inviting the viewer to buy a product.

And besides, the vulnerable by which I take it you mean the problem gambler, shouldn't be watching me. Why are they and how can we stop them? Want to discuss that rather more difficult issue. You're welcome.

I am no longer prepared to put up with the insults and violent threats.

You all got what you wanted but by total wrong means 

As for other affiliates. Don't entertain them and just mind your own business. It is not worth entering into discussion online because unfortunately it attracts the pond life of society. There are some that you can reason with but they attract the said pond life who just give you hell for daring to voice your opinion.

The trolls existed long before my videos. Unfortunately I've learnt there is a select group on both sides who take things too far for what is ultimately just a difference of opinion. 

I do not condone any type of harassment of threats and I hope whoever is doing this is caught.

 
i did read all your comments no one was talking about casinos games are fixed,all gambling are fixed,progressive jackpot,roulette,tennis,lottery,football..shortly all of it,very low percent some people wins but not big money just pocket money,who can tell me who win the big jackpot,i always see from internet that some one win huge jackpot from megamollah,they show us their pictures,very nice stories,(i spin my last money ,just 25p,i win jackpot i couldnt believe it,i m very happy my life change.lap,lap,lap)do you believe them?even goverment knows everything,goverment knows that they are cheating us but do nothing why?cos very simple,for tax,i gave the name myself,this bussiness name is legal robbery,i used the play and now i never touch or click the gambling website cos i know i wont win what i expecting,dear ladys and gentleman pls give up and stop gambling

There is a reason why gambling is called a MUGS game

In my opinion some of the streamers are getting out of control now and it is clear as day they are addicted to gambling.

The streamers are so concerned about problem gamblers yet some of them have started doing £500+ spins on roulette.  They call Roulette the Devils wheel for a good reason.  Would love to hear @Slotplayer trying to argue this is acceptable.

Its hilarious why streamers such as @Nick have started releasing fail videos.  The heat is well and truly on as people are starting to see that yes everything you lot are doing is legal but its immoral and a shady business you are involved in.

 
If people want to do £500 a spin on roulette and they can afford to do so and are prepared to lose it, then what is me or anybody else to stop them.

No genuine streamer ever said or says gambling is something you should do in order to make money. All of them go out of their way to say that long term you are set to lose money.

Nothing shady about it at all.

A genuine streamer can make a genuine living out of winning and losing at gambling. There are plenty of professional gambling streamers who use their streams to a.) Generate affiliate income using their streams as the conduit for that affiliation b.) Negotiate non-standard bonuses and terms and conditions for promoting casinos which in some cases can be +EV.

For some people streaming is just a part time hobby / bit of fun. For others it's a professional business setup to make money. They are not mutually exclusive.

I was talking about people doing £500 roulette spins and the connection with responsible gambling.

£500 spins are not exclusively done by streamers. It is probably low rolling compared to proper high rollers.

If people object to what they consider irresponsible bets, then knock on the door of the casinos that let players bet so high. Don't blame the gambler who can afford to do such bets, irrespective where they obtained their legally earned money from.
