Hi,

Just wanted to understand one thing from casino world!

What happens to the winnings that are confiscated from the players?

Scenarious:

1. Winnings after wager done and are capped?

2. Winnings from accounts that cannot do KYC.

Especially interested in first one. Isn't that providers pay casinos the wins + casinos edge and casinos pays players? If bonus is capped casino just keep the reminder of the money after its capped after the wager.

Explain me a bit CG and community!

Big thanks

Yo dude, to answer your questions:

1. To answer this question how you're approaching it, the casino keeps any 'winnings' after wager cap. But in reality, there are no extra winnings because you're not playing under regular terms; you're playing under wager terms with a cap - those extra winnings are purely illusionary. This is because Providers do NOT pay out your winnings, as Providers never even see or touch your money. All money you play with, win/lose on site is a mix of either your deposits or the casino's existing funds.

Providers just license their games to be used & casinos pay that license fee to host them on site for customer to play - it works the same way as a real life video games arcade - you don't pay Nintendo or Konami to play; you pay the arcade owner.

2. In the UK anyway, assuming you're playing at a legal, properly regulated casino, until any KYC gets resolved then the money just sits there waiting. If it's unresolved and account ends up being closed then any balance should generally be refunded or allow refund request. If player leaves account dormant long enough then casino should again make efforts to refund balance or else they can charge account maintenance fee till you contact them. If it's a dodgy or unregulated casino though, then anything could happen lol!
