SMS spam from affiliates

Speaking of the trolls, just got one.. I turned to Duelz customer support, and he wrote to me that they can not decide to whom the third party sends messages to..

Yes, i might overreact a bit (posted and written in anger). However, should the Casinos be exempt from their responsibility? It would not be OK if the Casino sendt me this SMS, and i mean it shouldnt be different just because that SMS came from another person. I dont know how the verification process are when affiliates gets a deal, but i belive this has potential to be better. I sure know that this SMS was out of their Control, but should it be out of their responsibility? And if they have no Control over their affiliates, then what?

There are still many Casinos i've contacted regarding SMS spam, but havent bothered replaying me back. I'm not familiar With 21.com so when my e-mail was rejected i wondered if this was a scam site, and asked the forum instead of spending time to investigate myself.

I have a policy that Casino's that doesnt have "Control over their Affiliates" is a Casino i do not want to play at. Simple as that. If everyone could follow that, we would no longer have this spamming problem. In the end, it's the Casinos fault, as they offer affiliate deals.
Yeah totally agree. I don't understand why this issue didn't get resolved instantly since every single Casino on this planet is subscribed to this Thread.

I hope nobody will send you amazon affiliate links otherwise you will have to stop using Amazon aswell. ?

Mabye not, but they sure can decide to terminate the third party's affiliation deal and confiscate their comission. I'm pretty sure if they did, this spammer wouldnt have a reason to continue sending those SMS.

Keep up the fight!

After a long period without any spam, i thought mabye "my campain" against the unknown spammer might just work, but today it started again.

Now 21.com casino is involed with such people, and automaticly added to my banned casino list. I hope you guys do that aswell. I'll try to reach out to them too see if they have a good answer and how they will act. If i get a reply, i will update.

Hi Pausefisk.

First of all, thank you for bringing this up.

We will contact the affiliate and have them stop the spam towards your number.

In regards to the email not being received. We have been moving service providers for support@21.com, so that email has been down the last week or so. The email should be back on Monday.

I deeply apologize the inconvenience, I will do my best to solve this for you.

Do not hesitate contacting me here for anything.

Best regards,

Thomas

A quick search for this numbers gives you tons of feedback that is a "legend" in illegal spamming: https://www.180.no/varsel/nummer/59446055

I hope @FrankFred Casino will terminate this affiliates deal asap and void all comission.

I'm gussing i will get another one within a few days from another casino.... there should be a blacklist register among all the casinos for as*** like this.

I got the same one today. So bloody annoying

Hate affiliates like this..i'm also often convinced some of the Casinos work with them, or at least some shady affiliate manager with contacts throughout the industry..  these numbers and email-addresses are definitely being sold...

It's mostly not the fault of the Casino, but definitely their responsibility as soon as they are made aware of it...alas some Casinos won't take action until one of the harassed people (such as yourself @ pausefisk) makes work of it..

Good you opened this thread, and made the effort!

Hi @pausefisk, I received the same messages from "Velkommen" regarding the last text you got in regards with Frank&Fred too.. ++ many more from the same idiot.

I e-mailed my loyalty rep at Frank&Fred today regarding this and I'm currently awaiting a reply from them. Will let you know what they say. It's the same referral number as you got - so it's the same person behind all the texts.

I wonder where he got my number from? Somehow one of these sites must have leaked it..

Anyone know a way to block yourself from such spam or does the affiliate have to be put down ?
I'm afraid the only one who can do anything about this is the casinos. If they remove their comission they have no profit from sending these spam messages. The only "fight" we can give back is to block, close accounts and tell around that people should avoid playing on casinos that allows this to happen, as in the end, it is because of their affiliate program we recieve these SMS.

@21.com Thomas you se, here is the PROBLEM IN THE INDUSTRY: "We will contact the affiliate and have them stop the spam towards your number. " Do you belive that is good enough to make him stop?

STOP HARASSING ME FOR F*** SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're allowed to pursue this legally due to EU laws. That is, vs. the affiliate. Depends on how pissed of you are though :)

I get your frustration. From what I can tell, this is dude is just getting started. And he's really "tråkking in the salat" sorta speak.

I suggest you - in a calm and polite - manner, approach Brian Ærbo Pedersen (founder of KeyAffiliates) or Christian Kjær Hansen (Chief Operating Officer) <-- The man with the big gun in the company. Their contact info is listed on keyaff dot com.

Thank you, i will @CGDL, but i'm dissapointed neither @21.com Thomas, @FrankCasino (or is it @FrankFred Casino ?) and @VoodooCasino have bothered replying on this yet. Mabye i'm expecting too much from them, as Money rules in the end. I really don't feel they take this seriously.

I know i can only pursue the affiliate legaly, and it feels wrong. The Casino's doesnt have to care, since the affiliate have to take the blame, and while this is going on, they both earn Money. So again, Money rule.

My goal is to shitlist those who Accept this, both Casinos and affiliates (if that is even possible). I want People to stay away from Casinos that doesnt care about the GDPR. It's the only weapon we have to fight back, and i will.

I have received spam from the same number and trough the same links. Expect @21.com Thomas@FrankCasino  @FrankFred Casino  and  @LeoVegas_Support to take action here. As these guys are spamming indiscriminately you can be sure they are advertising your casinos both to minors and problem-gamblers, which must be a breach of their license.

Have already complained directly to keyaff.com, which has refused to take action.
