SMS spam from affiliates

pretty sure its the casino itself since its about a deposit bonus and freespins for a new game release... I have talked to live support one last time and told the guy I want an email confirmation that they deleted me of the system... He said he will forward it to the relevant team

So, it has been around 2 months of silence from this fu**face sh**hole di**face person, but he/she is not giving up - neither am i.

This time it's Royal Panda and Mr. Green. I've notified them both via e-mail and waiting for a reply. I will post them when (or if) i get a reply.

I've been in touch with nkom.no who is the norwegian authority regarding all kind of communications. They are aware of the issue, but yet have not found a solution to stop this becasue there are so many parts involved in the technical solutions for ip/telecom. I've also reported this to the consumer authority, but i don't expect them to solve it either. At the moment it seems the only one who can stop it is ourselves and the power we have as customers.

We can:

  • DO NOT sign up trough any of those link (those links are not better offers than you would get anyway)
  • Complain to the related casino EVERY time we recieve an SMS spam - ask them how they will handle the complaint. Post the result here.
  • Close our accounts on the related casinos if they dont take the complaint seriously
  • Add related casinos to your "ban list". If they dont take a complaint like this seriously, how do you think they will handle any other complaint as a customer.
  • Suggest to others to stay away from related casinos who operate with non-GDPR compliant affiliates.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions!

Must be someone in the casinoes that can tell us the name on the spammer.. Or are they protecting the spammers?

Sure they are, which is understandable in the same way they are protecting your personal information as a custmer. I dont expect the casinos to give up their names, but to terminate their contract in terms of not beeing GDPR compliant. Fortunately for the Casinos the GDPR rules are weak, so they can not be held responsible for affiliate actions.

Hi pausefisk, thank you for reporting this. We've flagged this with the affiliate and they have taken action to stop these campaigns under Royal Panda's name.

He's working hard at the moment. New shit coming regulary nowdays. Anyone know where i can find a bounty hunter??? :)

This time its NYspins casino, added to my blocked casino list.

It's been a while since last SMS spam. Hopefully my fight against this person does it harder for him/her to get affiliate deals around.

This time its "greenplay casino" who's dancing with the devil. The "stopp?" link goes as usual to a goole form with no authentication or input field to enter your number. But we all know you should never confirm your number there anyway.

I tried to speak to online chat at greenplay who follows standard procedure, asking for my name and number. Ofcource i will never give my number, because yes, the spammer might remove my number from this casino, but will use it next time for another SPAM offer, me verifying that i read the SMS. The only way to make this work, is not giving them my number, which means that the casino will have to shut down the affiliate completely, if they want to be GDPR complient (or work with 3rd-part who is). I asked the live chat to contact the affiliate manager, and i left my e-mail so he/she could get in touch that way, and leave a number so i can make a call and settle this with the manager, but that seemed to be out of the question. In other words, not willing to solve this matter.

So, Greenplay casino is added to my banned list. I hope you guys and girls out there who is tired of the spam harassment aswell, bans this casino too. We must fight this together.

Have a great spam-free day :)

This person is on fire... 3 spams in less than a week. Stay aways from these casinos, they dont respect your privacy!

So i have an update regarding Boo Casino and Lucky Days, who have responded resonable fast on this matter. I had to take a few round with Lucky Days for them to understand the big picture, but in the end a big shout-out to them both for taking actions on this affiliate. I doubt i'll stop recieveing these SMS, as i've already tried to opt-out many times before, but mabye my chances are highter when their deals are getting terminated.

I have not recieved any replay from IVYaffiliates regarding Jackpot Village. It's been a week, they should be able to handle a complaint like this within a week. I see that this casino operated under the White Hat Gaming Limited - which i have only have negative view on after many complaints on any casinos operation under their license.

If a casino doesnt reply on your complaint, how do you think they will handle your case as a player, if you have any issue? just sayin'
