Back in June @Slotspinner had a tournament promo with NINE casino so I joined to check it out. I ended up not depositing, as after finding out the tournament was not limited spins, and was effectively "pay the most to win" I wasn't interested. At this point I didn't realise that NINE didn't have a UK licence, didn't notice the Curaco at the bottom of the page, but NINE had no problem with signing up with GBP and UK details.
Some point later I worked out NINE was not UK compliant but I had already registered, and when @Skylined87's Wild Woof thread came I did try to make a deposit as I trusted that an affiliated CG casino wouldn't screw me over, even though I wouldn't normally touch Curaco. It failed and no credit was added, but the money was taken from my account plus a "currency conversion fee" from my bank to change to Euros even though the site listed GBP. It's been over a week and they still haven't returned my deposit. Customer Service are going into a clear "let me check that for you" merrygoround that seems clear they're not actually going to do anything.
it's clearly an ongoing problem as their Trustpilot is full of people talking the same scenario, plus several dispute services on the web. Haven't found one yet where the complainant actually got their money back.
