Pokerstars not allowing withdrawl!

Hi all

I recently registered on pokerstars during the streams with Nick, Kim and co.

Lucky for me i managed to win a few hundred quid.

Attempted to withdraw it and they are asking me to verify my account, problem is they are insistent on photo ID, which i don't have! I've never held a passport and do not have a driving licence. They are refusing to accept anything else.

Anyone else had a similar issue or can offer any advice? They aren't having any of it, and say i can't speak to anyone as they only offer live chat facilities. They have let me withdraw £10 back to the card i deposited from but the other £790 they won't withdraw, i'm failing to see why.

 
It's in there T&C's that you need a photo ID. 

Its in every single casinos T&C's. 

Here in the US, we can get a driving licence card for learners for $15. Surely the Ireland/Uk is the same?

In Denmark, if you dont have a passport or driving license then you dont have a valid picture id. The national id for reason does not have a picture. 

But i have still not seen one single online casino that did not require a id with picture to allow withdrawel from their site.

to name a few...none of these sites have ever asked for photo ID and ive deposited and withdrawn fine.

Withdrew £300 from videoslots and £40 from Betfred yesterday, no issues.

Yes mate it is a thing. I don't live in UK so I don't know how things work there, but many casinos (MGA licenced) can also verify you via Skype, if the documents are in an other language except latin or russian, or there is no other possible way to verify a specific document. So yeah 

 
but then the easy solution is to get a picture id, that would solve the problem. It sounds like the most easy solution.

I have been playing online slots for almost five years also on some the sites you mentioned, and ALL have asked for a picture id. Dont know if the rules are different in the uk. I asked a uk streamer yesterday and he has also never heard of a site that did not ask for picture id.

 
To be fair some sites I'm on have never asked me to verify and I've deposited thousands and won thousands. Even a vip on a couple. I know they do inital checks when you sign up. But most will ask for verification docs before you withdraw or even deposit.

 
The casinos you play on I'm verified on ALL, I suggest you apply for a UK provisional driving licence.

Even if you don't drive or want to, it will help you prove identity not only for casinos but alot of other things.

You can apply via https://www.gov.uk/apply-first-provisional-driving-licence

I suggest in future don't play anymore casinos until you have ID imagine you winning a jackpot or something and unable to cash it out because of Identity/age verification. and I can assure you videoslots is hot on documents once made a deposit.

on videoslots go to 'profile - > tab 'documents' scroll to bottom it should say under ID requested.

I withdrew £300 from videoslots last week, no issues and i'm up 1.2K on them since joining, no issues with deposits or withdrawls.

As i said, registered on all of those listed and never had a problem.

I think the max deposit i've made on any is like £50, maybe that's why? Is there an unwritten rule around exceeding a certain amount...

You think your fine then the ban hammer will come down usually when you think your safe they hit you. A good win can trigger the withdraw limit then they'll ask for verification. Totally up to the casino thats why you should verify before the situation arises.

Actually you have 3 choices. Gamble that they will pay you out, unverified or spend a little for a license and verify or don't play.

They have told me flat out, they won't pay out. I've applied for provisional licence, will take about 6 weeks. So just let it sit in pokerstars for 6 weeks before i can get it.

then cool off on poker stars for 1 month or 6 weeks which ever it allows you so don't spend the money. it'll still be there.

 
I have accounts with all the big UK bookies/casinos for between 10-20 years and never verified any of them (Bet365, Paddy Power, Betfair, Ladbrokes, William Hill, Corals, Betfred, Skybet and a few others i can't remember) This year i started watching Slotspinner and Letsgiveitaspin so i wanted to play Monopoly live, As none of my regualr bookies offered the game i signed up to LeoVegas, Betvictor and Party Casino, All three have asked for verification upon me requesting my first cashout, In fact i was asked three times to provide documentation for LeoVegas, in 3 months, Started of with passport and utility bill, Few weeks later they asked for them again, (i sent the exact same photos, which they approved again) then a month later they wanted a photo of my bank statement and my wage slip for proof of source of funds, Closed my LeoVegas account down as i'm not prepared to give them these documents, Now getting the same requests from BetVictor.

I assume because i'm now doing daily deposits and withdrawals i'm getting all this grief, Before if i won i'd just leave the money in my account, But with playing slots daily and maybe a bit of Crazy Time i can easily do 3-4 deposits per day. If i win i always do cashouts rather than leaving the temptation of having money sitting in my casino accounts, As i'm doing way more transations than i ever used to do i assume that raises alarm bells at their end.

Just order a passport mate otherewise you'll never see that money, It's only going to get worse and for £75 it will save you alot of grief in the future.
