Leovegas violating terms.

I would like to have some help to get something to happening with my issue on Leovegas.

I mailed royalpanda in 2017 asked them closed my account because im a gambling addict.

I was then able  to register on LeoVegas, and play there with no worries.

Then i wanted to reedem deposits because they have violated the terms of responsible gaming. (Let me play when i have explained for RoyalPanda im a gambling addict)

i waited around 3 month's to get the answer " We are different brands" doesnt matter. You will not get anything".

They was on exactly the same licence (see picture).

You can't just deposit on a casino and expect your deposits back. If you won and were able to cash out would you be complaining. If you have a gambling problem why are you joining and playing at casinos? There is help out there for people that want it. 

 
Can you walk in to a Mcdonalds, buy a Big Mac & Co, eat it up, go back to the counter and ask for money back because you have a eating disorder? I don’t think so.

I don’t want to sound harsh, gambling addiction is nothing to joke about, but as stated in the previous post, if you would have won and made a withdrawal, then you wouldn’t have complained?

What country do you live in? If you live in a country that has a regulated gambling market, check your local ”gambling comission” for advice. If not, then i don’t know where you can turn for advice since i know zero about the statements for MGA license and gambling addiction.

 
@Geordiemag1 Im not playing anymore. But the company have some rules to follow too. Easy to say for you ? When you are an big addict you don't think that way. It took me 3 years to quit. But this post isn't about that.

This post is about companies follow rules that are set by licenses!

If i tell a company i have gambling problems, and want them to close and ban me they should ban me. Not let me open an other account on same licence.  That violates terms of responsible gambling.

 
No they were not. They was under the same licence (check my picture) Im not trying to cheat the system. Im sent an email in the first attemt to quit gambling in 2017 to sites i was registered at. Then i looked up the casinos that didn't ban me and did what i asked to do. (ban me and block me)  in late 2018.. You guys are really angry and i notice you don't understand a freaking shit what gambling addiction looks like.

When you played away all you have, your life, your family, your kids.

And you @Slotspinner don't attack me.  Im justing trying to get back something of what i lost. If i email a casino and say " Hey im a gambling addict, please can you ban me. I can't controll my gambling. I don't want to play anymore. Then you can start an new account on the the same licence. It's ok?

Addiction doesnt look like that. You don't have a stop in your brain. You searching hours after hours for gambling sites, loans to finance your gambling.

You are so low on the bottom.

It's really easy to say things like you do and be funny. But we all can end there. I ended there.

did you self exclude somewhere mid december 2017? because effectively leovegas acquired royalpanda 1st of december.

Also what does your picture say, there is no dates whatsoever on it. so im waiting for you answer on this.(EDIT: the dates shown on the license is the LEOVEGAS license, not royalpanda (royalpanda was acquired 1st of december 2017!!)

I have no intentions to attack anyone addicted to anything. but what i can read out of your words is basically "hurr durr they are same license let me gamble by balls in cause if i lose they have to pay me back anyway!" just my feeling here.

Are u all crazy ? The guy has a point no matter what . Leo vegas should return his deposits , simple as . Had he won LeoVegas would have said ''no payment'' and just refund his deposits . It's the law , leovegas should payback his deposits NO MATTER WHAT . This is ofcourse if they were on the same licence with royal panda . There is absolutely no discussion here : They HAVE to return deposits . End off

 
@Slotspinner 2017-03-06 i emailed royalpanda about my gambling problem.  Royalpanda and Leovegas had the same MGA licence - MGA/CRP/237/2013. As you see in the first picture the licence is the same for both royalpanda and leovegas (check website urls)

The support told me to they was on the same licence too.

And yes i can undestand your thought. But it isn't like that. I played long time on Leo. Then i quit the account there too the 2nd attempt to quit gambling.

But then i found out they were on the same licence. And i don't think it's fair thing..

I mean if i tell a company i have huge problems and they have a casino on the same licence and same company.. Should they not ban me overall  then..

That's not the point the point is he openly said he wanted to redeem his deposits back. That tells me he was well aware of the situation and that if he was self excluded that he knew he was entitled to get his deposits back. You can't get defensive when you get responses like this. You tried to play the system knowing your in a no lose situation (win money or deposits back) 

 
No, i found out about it long time after. I read about it in 2018. 1,5 years later. That companies that does so is breaking rules for responsible gaming. This wasn't a freaking test or something. This is about companies don't following laws...

You think you plan things like this when you are an addict? You are just searching for your high. For your dopamines for your brains. 

Now when you have waken up and realised how much you fucked up your life. Ofcourse i want my deposits back. When a company have used me on my extreme lowest bottom. This isn't a freaking test or try. This is a many years long living in hell.

1 and half years is a long time but if I was you I would walk away forget the losses move on and stay strong and keep away from any form of gambling wanting deposits back is only putting gambling on your brain. That's all im going to say on this but good luck with your addiction. 

 
Leovegas bought Royal in December 2017, that means when you self excluded Royal was operating a different license, and then joined leovegas license active since 2013 where you were not self excluded.

you misunderstand the part where royal was not under this license from 2013 when you self excluded

 
Actually appalled at some of the responses to this. The guy is right to question this. On CM there are numerous cases of the Leo group not upholding exclusions with one brand to the rest of the brand's on the licence. Gambling addicts will try anything to keep gambling and operators have a duty to prevent that where possible. Number of cases raised as PAB are pretty big within the group and there is no smoke without fire. Ethically the guy should have his deposits returned as if he had withdrawn they wouldn't have paid him and I have first hand experience of this with Royal Panda myself so I do know!

 
@Slotspinner I like your streams and have nothing against you , but in this issue you don't know what you're speaking about . Hopefully i won't get banned for telling you that you have no clue whatsoever , so the sensible thing would be just to apologize .. Now , to explain you why , a person self-excluded from royal panda is still excluded if royal panda is bought by another comany ! When the other company bought royal panda it did so respecting the law , so a person self excluded on one of his brands is automaticly excluded on all brands that the company owns . The person complaining should get all deposits made on Leo from the point Leo bought Royal Panda ..So if u say the company was bought in december , he should get all deposits from december up till now back . @Geordiemag1 It doesn't matter what he was thinking at the time he played on leo , it does no matter ... As stated before , had he won on Leo he wouldn't get a penny from Leo , which would have stated the fact that he is self excluded at one of its brands ...

@ZeroZone You are entitled to all deposits refunded from december last year to now . You are NOT entitled to any refunds on deposits made before december 2017 . GL !

With all the respect, I think that you should already known that before you deposited and you chose to break the agreement and still deposited and played. I dont think Leo owns you anything at all apart from (Banning you) from any of their websites. You clearly my friend are hopping to catch some cash from nowhere. If I was Leovegas manager I would of tell you to go the way you come from with empty pockets. Best of luck though, worth a try, you never know :D 

 
@careeste i might be wrong, maybe you know alot  more about licenses. it just reverse appaled me how it seems this is about tricking the system and not about protecting an addicted gambler, and as i see im not the only one feeling this way. i think we need an expert verdict on how licenses work when a company gets bought to know what should actually happen here

 
When a company buys another company it takes over its rights and duties. Any excluded players from either brand then need to be excluded across all brands. If not, they are in breach of their license. The easiest solution is to pay back the deposits and apologize to the player. If the jurisdisction is in the know, they can also choose to give a warning, or fine, or suspend the license. Highly dependent on the actual jurisdisction and the case at hand.

MGA is considered as very non-aggressive, UKGC is the opposite. If OP is UK resident then go to UKGC with the complaint.

A general observation IMO is that casinos in general can do with some more responsibility when it comes to gambling problems, so personally from a community perspective I think it's worth to side with the player if not all facts are clear.

That means you played in leovegas 2017 after self excluding on royal in 2017? im really trying to follow your story but your dates and everything just make it messy.

For all thats clear is you self excluded in march 2017 on royal, when did you play on leo that you want to claim deposits back?
