Leovegas violating terms.

@Slotspinner Correct. I played there after the self exclude on royal. For many many thousands.. I played until somewhere 2018 then i closed the account on Leo by my self.

But as the other guys mention over they shouldnt even let me open an account on Leo. When i have described it to royal before and wrote my full namne, personal number, email and explained im a big gambling addict and want to be banned for ever. And never be able to play again.

Let me escalate this. Sorry for the previous responses, for all it looks to be you are correct with your claims

With all the respect, I think that you should already known that before you deposited and you chose to break the agreement and still deposited and played. I dont think Leo owns you anything at all apart from (Banning you) from any of their websites. You clearly my friend are hopping to catch some cash from nowhere. If I was Leovegas manager I would of tell you to go the way you come from with empty pockets. Best of luck though, worth a try, you never know :D
That is complete rubbish. Unless you know to click on the licence at the bottom of the home page on any casino you don't know exactly what operator they are linked to. Plus, there are takeovers and new operators all the time so its not straightforward to keep track of it, particularly if you have numerous accounts. Casinos are getting off massively lightly, THEY ARE BUSINESSES! They should have the technology to detect an excluded player very easily and should have as per the terms of their licence agreements.

I've not read the whole thread but I think there's a misconception here - under MGA rules an exclusion applies to one brand, not the license. Depending on a company's structure they might apply it to all brands on the license, but to my knowledge and from experience, that needs to be specified when asking for the exclusion.

Is he a UK player perhaps? Because the rules in the UK are clear on this.

I seen so many people get screwd by the casinos, when they have exluded them self from a sister site and then win on other and the casino says... no no you dont get payd, becouse of the licens that we share.

My advice is to make a office complaint and get a answer from there.

if @Slotspinner can help you with this issue that would be great.

@ZeroZone

I get your point.

I must say, that on your first post I didn’t get it either, like many others who responded on your post. But with the information you gave on your following posts, it’s quite obvious for me that LeoVegas made a mistake even tho I don’t think they did that on purpose, like I can’t imagine, that if you won, you wouldn’t have gotten your winnings.

They should’ve excluded you from gambling as soon as they noticed you’re selfexcluded on royal panda and paid your deposits back at that point.

It’s a matter of the law now or maybe LeoVegas agreeing that they made a mistake there and paying you back anyway even of the law doesn’t tell them to do.

Since I have no clue about that stuff all I can do is crossing my fingers for you and wishing you the best for your (hopefully 100% gamblefree) future.

@Yug0Slavish Im from Sweden.

@Slotspinner Is it anything i can do now? Regards
https://www.spelinspektionen.se/

Contact Spelinspektionen via phone or email, they should be able to answer your questions.

Spelinspektionen is our government gambling comission, which all the Casinos in Sweden that have a license operate under. I have been in contact with them, they provide help for the players, you can even file a complaint against a casino if you feel that they have not been fair.

Submit a complaint form on the mga site and please wait 2-4 weeks maximum to get your answer by the investigation department. Nobody can find a solution for you neither get your deposits back except Mga itself. ?

There is no rule in UKGC legislation which explicitly states funds must be returned to self excluded players. Oddly, the UKGC have indicated this should happen in certain cases I've read about but yet they won't just add an explicit sentence into their code stating as such.

It's definitely a bit of a grey area.

@ZeroZone I believe as others have said your best course of action is to contact MGA and see what they say. I believe at the time this happened Royal Panda and Leovegas weren't sharing license but that that happened quite recently - I might be wrong though. Also, MGA doesn't stipulate in all cases that an exclusion on one brand transfers to another, but please check on that with them regarding your case.
