LeoVegas lowered some Play’n Go RTP today

oh well, rip Leo,

while some casinos increase the rtp to 98% on quite some slots Leo decided to lower it instead. bye Leo vegas

Soon were gonna get the Daniel negreanu version of «more rake is better» here on CG 😂

Where streamers will swear by «Lower RTP is better for everyone»

I can't speak from everyone's name here, but I am surprised as everyone else here.

How can I even comment on something that I am not aware of..  Whatever is for you guys - same for us... Its very unfortunate and i will be happy to know why they did that.

CasinoGrounds has nothing to do with the decisions LeoVegas is making.

I hope we will have some update in next couple of days.

Damn, that's bad news for sure. I wonder what the reason is for doing that, I mean I'm pretty sure they're already making plenty of $$$.
For anyone that thinks RTP doesn't matter. Check out the following movie, actually every slot player should check it out. Pretty interesting information imo.

Haha if rtp would be not realky important there would be no such a thing like rtp.maybe for some people with massive wallet rtp means fuck all but for average players means fucking a lot.gokd you post this kind video in here cos there always some dickheads who gonna get facts in front of his face and still try to deny the truth.

Its not just leo vegas its many, many more casinos. Casinos that playing at too even if its not the sites recomended by CG but im obligated to play there cos of location.im playin at cresus casino, lucky8, winoui.they all do it too.on play n go's you cant even see rtp, when ask live chat about it they tell you that they can give you this info just tell them the name of the slot😂😂or that my rtp always gonna be different due winnings or losses 😂😂or that i can calculate my own  myslef 🤣🤣😂. And if anyine  wonders why they do it.......... Grow up...... Its freaking obvious its about the money

Actually that leapt to my mind this afternoon, although I am no streamer, no affiliate, don't have ties to casino's or Casinogrounds.

I am convinced that no online casino can maintain the highest RTP settings and hand out bonuses and generous player rewards at the same time,
and was already wondering how Leovegas managed to do so for so long up till now.

If the reduced RTP on selected providers and slots is the only change for now, the forum readers as educated players can still choose to play all other slots.
(for example BigTime Gaming that still has only 1 RTP setting)

Only the players who don't read gambling forums and fineprint/help files lose a bit faster and overall probably a bit more.

Probably not fair but I prefer other people losing a little bit faster than I do over all people losing at the same rate while I am not getting any bonuses.

You're welcome :P

Yes, and casinos like LeoVegas are not allowed to give bonuses to me who lives in Sweden. But I get lower rtp so you can get them. Yes, you’re welcome :P

I guess we will find out if Casinogrounds is for the players, or for the casinos in the next couple of days.

Letsgiveitaspin: "Sad to see more and more casinos are lowering the RTP, really have to start looking for those who still has the slots maxed out"

I guess it's time to move away from Leovegas. PepeLaugh

Moon Princess is still showing 96.5 in the description (at least the Swedish translation) but 94.5 inside the slot. It is so ugly done. No way they ”forgot” to change the descriptions. Run away and never look back.

Yes, like prices in a store. Put 10-12$ on the price tag and you don’t need to worry about having your front end correct.

Yesterday I have checked the RTP of many Play´n go slots from inside the slot, by reading the text listed after clicking the ? mark .

Also I have tried to doublecheck the RTP from the browser (F12 - inspect) but that did not work for me.

For me (my region? Netherlands)  Moon Princess shows the 94.51% RTP setting as of today.

Leovegas operates in many regulated markets.
Some if not all of these regulated markets demand that the RTP can be found easily.

If I read correctly, the RTP is also displayed in some sort of decription for Swedish market, not only in the game help file.
Might this be a requirement for the Swedish license, that the RTP is to be displayed on the game description or landing page?

I am quite surprised to read that the wrong RTP was printed because Leovegas is huge in Sweden
and I imagine that displaying the wrong RTP on slots is a fairly serious breach of license.

From perspective of compliancy/maintenance it is probably best if the RTP is always displayed on the game page itself,
but I understand that this is not desirable.
