Ladbrokes forced a self exclusion on me- because i forced them to disable the side games on their poker app. They were the only POKER site online that refused to offer players the option to disable slot machines (side games) on their Poker app. They told me, like they tell all customers still today, that it was impossible to disable side games. They were wrong and i contacted IPOKER as well to get them to contact Ladbrokes and tell them that if i wanted the fruit machines disabled, i was allowed to have them disabled as the poker app and the IPOKER network they used did NOT state anywhere when downloading the app, that i had to have fruit machines enabled on the POKER app at all times.. (i was playing poker full time grinder). I wanted the games disabled, because i could spend 12 hours per day logged into the POKER app, meaning i had the temptation 12 hours per day to play the pretty looking games with flashing lights. I love the odd gamble, but i like to choose games option on their site or casino, log in for an hour or so... have a wee gamble, then log out. I thought enough is enough, every poker app i played on had the option to disable side games, including their sister sites PP (just bought coral and ladbrokes) and Coral. Coral poker has a botton next to side games to disable the games from sight. Ladbrokes are part of the coral ltd group!! I love playing fruit machines, too... so i'm far from against them in any way. My problem was, Ladbrokes kept offering me free spins on these games, leading to me spending more and more money on fruit machines, when i logged into the POKER APP that i downloaded with no mention of the fact fruit machines were actually on the app. Fair enough when i got there and could see the games were on the poker app, almost all ipoker network poker apps will have them... my problem with Ladbrokes was they were the only site online that refused me permission to disable these games on an app i had open 12 hours per day, as a poker player and grinder on tournaments. Can anyone offer me any good advice? Can i challenge the forced exclusion (that shows up as self exclusion, even though i didn't request it) from Ladbrokes, as i now can't use sister companies like Party Poker or Coral. I find it totally unfair. The games on Ladbrokes were disabled for me, and as far as i am aware, i am the only customer that has every forced Ladbrokes to disable side games on their poker app. "15minutes later", after i logged in to see the games now disabled, i was banned with forced self exclusion for 5 years, the max they could ban me for. Then i noticed i couldn't place sports bets on Coral bookmakers and couldn't log into PARTY POKER lol, because they had just bought Coral/ Ladbrokes ltd - ffs.I think i might actually take this all the way here, if i can. I will do it for myself and other POKER playeres they are telling lies to. No online betting company should force me to look at fruit machines 12 hours per day and "HAVE TO RECEIVE FREE SPIN OFFERS, WITH NO OPTION TO DISABLE THE GAMES AND OFFERS BEING MADE" , just because they advertised a POKER APP to me to download and play POKER on it. Notice i keep using CAPS for the word POKER. I am doing this because POKER on the ladbrokes site is a totally different option on their main page than casino, games, sports and bingo. The option i chose to download was the POKER APP.Do i have a case to take this all the way here against a site that had (whistle blowers) come out from management jobs within the company to express their disgust at the way they target sports/horse betting players and poker players with free spins and offers to try and get them play FOBT fruit machines, knowing there was a chance they could get these people addicted to the games, when they wouldn't have even put a penny in them to start with, as they were sports betters only. This scumbag company are still telling POKER players that chose to download the POKER APP there is no way to disable the side games on the poker app, which i tested by phoning just now. I told them they were wrong and i got the side games disabled. They asked me how- and i explained i spent 3 or 4 weeks emailing them and the Ipoker network to force Ladbrokes to allow me to disable the games. The call handler told me i was talking s#it basically and said like the robot she was, that it is impossible to disable the fruit machines on the POKER APP lol. I can prove i got the games disabled. I can prove that after emailing them several times asking them to disable these games that they offered me free spins on them , at least twice, and i really want this forced self exclusion looked into. I never asked for self exclusion and i know they forced it on me because they feared other players would demand these free spins offers stop and the games be disabled. I don't know who i can ask to look into this, it is clearly a breach of their own terms and conditions/ responsible gambling act. I want to get an option on theer POKER app for players to be able to disable side games. I won't stop until this happens. Can anybody tell me who to approach about my stated problems with LADBROKES ? As you can see from this long thread here, i do certainly have a case and they aren't being as responsible as they should be with their customers. They actually forced self exclusion on me because i requested the side games be disabled, not that i was constantly playing them and losing a fortune. That would be fair enough and responsible of them if they banned me because i had a problem playing the games too much, not ban me for NOT wanting to have them available 12 hours a day , in their POKER app.I requested games be disabled on the poker app, i wanted to choose games and casino when i fancy a wee gamble, log out/win or lose... then go back to grinding it out on a poker only app. Simple!!
