Casino starting to take credit reports (UC) on swedish players!

Videoslot Ltd  starting to take credit reports from UC on swedish players! 

Under 1.1 in their terms they claim to have the right to do so to protect themselves and the player. They also claim its a part of the swedish license. 

They did this to me on Nov 14th and Im investigating this with Spelinspektionen and Datainspektionen if this is legal when then see so much other sensitive private information of a persons life. 

What do you guys think about this? 

 
Im not sure if its visible yet but they see lots of information about my private life that has nothing to do with them. And Im sure they dont care if I have big loans or whatever, they just making sure Im a 100% real person and nothing strange. Documents are easy to fake but there are other ways to check swedish players are what they say they are without getting this other sensitive information.

Basicly sais its not the swedish licence responsibility to ensure that casinos pay winners. So for the swedes thinking the licence is safe, its actually not. Its on curacao level. 

 
Yeah some shady stuff going on with this License. I have read through some of the documents regarding KYC and responsibility from the casinos side towards the players. This I found very interesting:

Om en spelare höjer sin insättningsgräns eller anger en högre gräns än 10 000 kronor per månad ska licenshavaren kontakta spelaren.

(If a player sets a deposit limit of 10000SEK or more per month, the licens owner must contact the player) 

Note is says (Deposit Limit) not actual deposits! Imo that is extremely low! Now I'm not gonna say that 10000SEK is not a lot of money, but it's a deposit limit, not actual deposit.

Then to add insult to injury casinos a taking credit scores from player, without their consent!! Wtf is going on!

Wth do they do then in Spelinspektionen when they don't help the players with this! For those who don't know ARN is a consumer complaint system for all consumer products, but why are they dragged into this, when there is a specific license in Sweden for Gambling. Im baffled at this. What a piss take this whole thing is. 

 
Europe is becoming a dictatorship, every country, especially UK and Sweden are making crazy strict freedom-restricting laws constantly, it's happening here in NL as well, the EU is not what they say it is.

 
A place where it takes credit reports to gamble wow that going to affect alot of things if implemented  properly!

Do you know how many gamblers would fail the threshold score on credit check theoretical question

 
I'd like more people to contribute to this discussion as it's going to be one hell of a hot potato.

Am I correct to assume that license holders are making up rules on the fly, and claiming towards players that this is mandatory according to their regulatory obligations?

No, that specific report they take hides the names of others that had taken a credit report on me, still they see my activities a year back. And they see my score and exakt sums on income and more 2 years back, tax payed and if Im married or not. And if I have some remarks from 3 years back from other banks and if Im been in court. Dont knwo what its called on english but I hope ypu understand me. :D

I dont htink they care about that and would not lower my limits or something if I had "too low" income...I think they just check everything looks normal but I think they go too far here with an "UC" check...there are other similar services or just make a search online on personal id number that dont show everything and dont let your bank know you gamble and so on. The UC is the one the big banks own and use when you take big loan or gonna buy a big house. Your score there is very important. I for sure dont want "Videoslots Ltd" on my list there for a year... I could be an invisible check for others but not sure yet. If it is its still to much sensitive personal information to a f***ing online casino.

Btw this is the explanation I got at first...  They say they didnt wanna disturb me by asking me about this information so they did it on their own... ? Even so they call me several times on my phone a couple of days ago about other stuff...even though Ive marked the box in my account that I dont want any phonecalls from them...communications should go by email only but still the disturb on phone. And basicly in the first lines here they say they are forced by swedish law to do what they did. So I guess they will take a credit report on alla Swedish player or they break the law and risk their licence. But I doubt they check all Swedish players.

I can't believe that email from Videoslots.

Especially the line marked in BOLD bothers me! How can you take a UC without consulting the person! If you have too many of those, you could be negatively affected in terms of Bank loans, consumer loans etc. This IMO is too intrusive of one's private assets etc.

The least you could do is ask the person, is it OK as a precaution that we check that you are actually capable of gambling as much as you do? And if no, well then until we know more, we will freeze your account. But doing it this way, you wouldn't know unless you checked it, and they don't need to run the risk of losing you, If you don't find out.. Im lost for words here. 

Rizk have contacted me for SOW as well and just to be sure I have checked to see if the did A credit check as well on me. They didnt, which is good... But..... I haven't played that much on Rizk this year at all.

I personally have decided that I dont want to do SOW, so Im propably done on Rizk, which sucks because they are a good casino. But the things they require are just out of this world. I'll post the email I got from them below. Btw this is not the email in its entirety, just some of it! There require more than what you read in below email. It's unfortunate as Rizk is a favorite of mine, but after the new Swedish laws have been put in place, it really doesn't matter where you play, because it basically all pay n play, not loyalty no nothing.

Sorry missed this one. This is not made up on fly, it's states on Spelinspektionens homepage that if you set a Deposit Limit of 10000 or more, the Casinos must contact the player in question, that's all.

There is no, you need to do this or that, at least when I read it. So taking out a UC I guess is some Casinos way of contacting a player *SarcasticSmask*. I prefer the Rizk approach, gives you a choice at least.

In spelinspektionens questions and answers it CLEARLY states:

Om en spelare höjer sin insättningsgräns eller anger en högre gräns än 10 000 kronor per månad ska licenshavaren kontakta spelaren

Which means that the casino MUST contact the player, not just do a credit score without them knowing. It might be covered in their T&Cs, but the license issuer says otherwise. 

 
Videoslots sucks doin this, thay have done same thing Rizk did too, but obviously not enough. You swedes and others should all contact them directly about this and not only read what some supportguy on VS writing on Casinomeister. 

I for sure would not play o VS if I knew they gonna take an UC without contacting me first.
