Game Selection
Currently, Jackpota features a library of more than 1,500 games from 50 software providers. That’s an impressive selection for any online casino, let alone a sweepstakes or social casino, and there are even some Jackpota exclusives in the mix to try here.
Providers contributing to the library range from heavy hitters like NetEnt and Playtech through to more niche providers like 4ThePlayer and Jelly. The live dealer action (including blackjack, roulette, sic bo, and game shows) is handled primarily by Iconic21, with a couple of contributions from Evoplay, Vivo Gaming, and Playtech.
Jackpota’s casino is primarily comprised of slots, including mechanics like Megaways and Hold & Win, with little in the way of card or table games except for those live dealers mentioned above. Some popular slots here include Pirate Chest: Hold and Win, The Godfather Megaways, Bonanza, and Gonzo’s Quest II. But there’s plenty more to try!
Banking Options
If you run out of Gold Coins and don’t want to wait around for the next promotion or daily giveaway, you can purchase a package of coins to continue the fun. Just bear in mind that they have no cash value and can’t be redeemed for prizes.
These packages start at $1.99 and go up to $299.99, with those costing $4.99 or above including a bonus of free Sweeps Coins, so there’s a package to suit every wallet here.
Gold Coins can be purchased with credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Once your Sweeps Coins balance exceeds the minimum required – 75 SC for cash redemptions or 10 SC for gift cards – you can redeem your Sweeps Coins for prizes.
Unless you’re planning to redeem a gift card, you can only claim your prize via a bank transfer. It’d be great to see a few more supported banking methods added here in the future.
Security and Licensing
While traditional online casinos require licensing and regulation from gaming commissions or regulatory bodies, the same doesn’t apply to sweepstakes casinos.
Since you can play for free, Jackpota doesn’t actually offer real-money gambling, so it doesn’t require that sort of licensing. But there are still safety features to look out for.
The site does, for example, use measures like SSL encryption to protect your data, blocks players from jurisdictions that can’t legally play there, and complies with all relevant US legislation that dictates how sweepstakes companies are allowed to act.
Jackpota.com is owned and operated by SILVER SOCIAL OPERATIONS LIMITED, registered in the Isle of Man (with registration number 021651V) at Third Floor, 34 Hope Street, Douglas, IM1 1AP, Isle of Man. This information is all freely available on the main site, which demonstrates a level of transparency that’s always good to see.
We’d like to know more about Jackpota’s fairness, including the results of third-party audits of the random number generators (RNGs) it uses. However, the site’s ongoing relationship with reputable software providers is a very positive sign, and we didn’t find anything concerning in regards to security here.
Customer Support
If you need help with an issue at Jackpota, you can head to their self-service help center. This Zendesk-powered database covers problems you might have with account and verification, through to technical concerns and purchasing.
The help center is a useful resource, but it can feel a bit sparse in places. Although it includes plenty of helpful information, it doesn’t go into the level of detail we’d like to see or include as many step-by-step walkthroughs as you might expect.
Fortunately, 24/7 support is available via a contact form in the help center if you can’t find the information you’re looking for. You can also email the support team at [email protected] or get telephone support at (424) 699-4745, but this number is for payment-related queries only. We’d love to see a wider rollout of live chat support.
Mobile Compatibility
Anyone looking for Jackpota apps for iPhone, iPad, or Android will be disappointed – at the time of writing, there are no dedicated apps for these platforms. Instead, you’ll find a responsive mobile site that you can access and play at using the same account that you do on a laptop or desktop.
The Jackpota Casino website is fully responsive, so all you need to do is get used to playing with a touchscreen rather than a mouse or trackpad. You’ll have access to the full library of 1,500+ games, but it’s worth noting that many take a few extra seconds to load on mobile.
Conclusion
We were impressed while writing our Jackpota review by its large selection of games from big-name providers like NetEnt and Betsoft. We also love that the sweepstakes model used by Jackpota means it’s able to offer casino-style games to players across (most of!) the US who can’t use traditional online casinos due to their location.
That said, there are some areas where Jackpota could improve. We’d like to see live chat support added, for example, along with more table and card games that don’t use live dealers. For slots fans, however, this is a great place to get a piece of the action.
