Free Drop Bonus Game

To trigger the Free Drop bonus game you need to land 3 or more bonus symbols anywhere on the reels. By landing three bonus symbols, will award you 6 free drops. If you land four bonus symbols you will be awarded 9 free drops, landing five bonus symbols will award you 12 free drops and if you are lucky enough to land 6 bonus symbols on the reels, you will be awarded the maximum amount of 15 free drops!

By getting one single win in the bonus game can push the safety level upwards one row, which defaults as the new position for the next free drop (until there is a maximum of 8 rows filled). Big Voodoo symbols continue to fill the empty spaces below with voodoo wilds. All non-winning wilds in the bonus game become sticky, increasing the potential of winning epic amounts!

Bomb feature

A bomb represents the bonus symbol and can appear in any symbol drop.  Except for the Wild and the big Voodoo symbol, all active symbols within a diamond-shaped area around the bonus symbol will explode to give space for additional symbols to fill the space. The symbol drop will then add an additional row of symbols on the top row, while the bonus symbol remains.  This adds an additional chance to collect more bonus symbols and potentially win more. 

Dual Bomb

To trigger the Dual Bomb feature, you are required to land two bonus symbols on the reels.  Except for the Wild and big voodoo symbols, all symbols touched by the line drawn between the bonus symbols explode to give space for additional symbol drops. The line between the bonus symbols can go horizontally, vertically or diagonally across the reels. Additionally, all other active instances of the touched symbols explode. The Dual Bomb provides an extra chance to collect the last remaining bonus symbol required to trigger the bonus game. 

Our thoughts on Voodoo Gold

We all love a highly volatile game with the chance to maximize our wins and this slot allows us to do just that, with a chance to win up to 5,000 times your bet. This creepy slot is perfect for the Halloween festive season, which is soon approaching us. However, personally I was not a fan of the music, it became slightly irritating and doesn’t really fit the genre of the game, but asides from that Elk studio did a good job with the graphics and design of the slot game.
