- Win Multipliers
- Only 2 special features
The Wild Class is the perfect throwback slot for those of you who were enjoying your teenage years in the '80s. A time where Michael Jackson and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers were at the top of their game and the latest Star Wars movie was showing at the cinema. While music and movies really have nothing to do with this slot from Play'n GO, the year is just about right. You will be travelling back to 1983 and get to know three seniors going by the names Chris, Mike and Jess, but these are no regular students. Every night at midnight, the three of them shapeshift into werewolves.
There are several different special features to look out for here, such as full stacks of student symbols that increase the Win Multiplier up to x5. You also have a Blood Moon Spins feature where 3 symbols are able to replace werewolf wilds and up to 30 free spins during the feature. So while there aren't too many different features, the ones available do provide great entertainment.
Where to play
How to win big in The Wild Class – Blood Moon Spins feature
Trigger the Blood Moon Spins feature by landing 3 or more scatters anywhere on the reels. You will be rewarded with 7 free spins in total, however, the amount of scatters triggering the feature will decide how many human symbols are transformed into werewolves. To make things even more interesting, these werewolf symbols will act as wilds during the free spins while more scatters will result in more werewolf wilds.
- 3 scatters – 1 human symbol is transformed to a wild
- 4 scatters – 2 human symbols are transformed to wilds
- 5 scatters – 3 human symbols are transformed to wilds
The werewolf wilds will be stacked 3 symbols tall and will act as regular wilds. Should you trigger the feature while a Win Multiplier is active, it will be carried over and won't reset until the feature has ended. Landing a scatter will get you additional free spins with up to 30 free spins possible.
- Win Multiplier feature
The only additional special feature aside from the Blood Moon Spins feature is the Win Multiplier. Here you will need to be looking out for the full moon on the side of the reels. This will be showing the current Win Multiplier at all times. Once a full stack of one symbol fills an entire reel, the Win Multiplier feature will be triggered. This will cause the win multiplier value to increase by 1 while landing 5 stacked symbols can result in a x5 multiplier. You will then see that the win multiplier will reset between every spin.
Look and Feel of The Wild Class
With a pretty unique theme offering a mix of 80's horror, high school and werewolves The Wild Class slot has a lot to offer. The theme is set back in 1983 where you will be seeing Chris, Mike and Jess who are far from your normal students. Once the clock strikes midnight, they will be transforming into werewolves. The whole story might as well have been inspired by the movie Teen Wolf, which is not a bad thing, at least if those kinds of movies are your thing. The setting of the game happens to be at an amusement park, so you will be seeing fair stands on either side of the reels, lit up by string lights and complete with a roller coaster and a Ferris wheel at the back.
The symbols on the reels are slightly disappointing, seeing Play'n GO has decided to use the standard royals as the low-value symbols, showing 10, J, Q, K and A. However, they have been designed to look like the typical lettering found on high school uniforms, so we can see how they tie into the theme nicely. The high valued symbols are of course represented by Jess, Mike and Chris in their human form.
