Stack Em reel main game

Stack 'em is a brand new slot created by Hacksaw Gaming as they are having a little “throwback” moment to one of their earlier releases – Stick 'em. Stack 'em happens to be the sequel to the game that was the transition slot of the developers as they moved from creating scratch cards to creating slots. It has a simple design along with some nice characters and it's nice to see that Hacksaw Gaming have stuck to exactly that in this sequel too. Of course there have been plenty of upgrades too, in order to really show off how far they have come since their very first slot release.

There are several different special features in the game too, with both wilds, multipliers, a free spins feature as well as a feature buy in place. The free spins feature even will have two new special symbols showing up to be part of the game.

How to win big in Stack 'em – Free Spins feature

By landing 3 scatters on the reels during the main game you will trigger the Free Spins feature, which is where the big wins are hiding. You start off with 5 free spins, which you will see displayed above the reels, but there are ways that you can earn more spins.

When creating a winning cluster, all of the symbols that were part of it will be added to a win multiplier, for example 6 symbols will get you an increase of x8 on the total win multiplier. In order to be a part of this multiplier, you will be required to have the winning cluster connected with an X-symbol. You are also able to land “?” symbols that have different functions. These can reward you with 2 to 5 extra lives, add 1, 2, 5, 10, 25 or 50 to the multiplier or you can have your total multiplier multiplied by 2, 3, 4 or 5.

Special Features

Special Features in stack em from hacksaw gaming

  • Feature Buy
  • Multipliers

The only real additional special feature in addition to the Free Spins feature is the multipliers which are part of the cluster pays mechanic really. When spinning the reels and creating a winning cluster, these symbols will remain on the reels while all the symbols not part of the cluster will disappear. Symbols that were part of the cluster will then fall to the bottom of the reels and a multiplier will be created for the reels that were part of the winning cluster. Create more winning cluster and the multipliers can then increase, where if you get a new win on the reels already with a multiplier then they will be added together and applied to the winning cluster.

In addition to this, you also have the Feature Buy option which allows you to buy your way into the Free Spins feature, costing 129x your total bet. This will get you 5 free spins.

Look and Feel of Stack 'em

Players who are familiar with the original slot release will be happy to see that Canny is there again, bouncing up and down to the right of the reel set. On the left side of the reels you will then be seeing Mona the Mouse. The backdrop of the game happens to be smack in the middle of a forest, where you will be seeing greenery covered mountains, blue skies and lots of lush greenery all over the screen.

The symbols you will be seeing on the reels consist of different letters such as A, G, E, R and T in addition to a leaf, a dead bird, a skull, a snake and a thumbs up. The symbols have a old-school cartoonish feel to them, but we are unsure of the exact meaning of the different symbols.
