Design & Symbols
Yggdrasil always comes up trumps with the visuals, and so once again have some top-notch cartoon artwork. The main screen shows the entrance to the underworld framed by two tree trunks supporting a digital banner which runs across the top of the gameboard offering tips and instructions. The reels float within this frame. The background depicts the hazy, dingy, ruins of the hellscape which our hero, Lilith the Demon, wished to conquer. Ominous musical refrains played in a minor key accompany the play. Hellish stuff alright.
Low-value symbols are coins depicting the four card suits; spades, clubs, diamonds, and hearts. High-value symbols are the four gatekeepers of the underworld, a variety of beasts and ogres. There is a blue boss, green boss, purple boss, and red boss. The red boss is the most valuable with 5 across a payline awarding 24x the bet size. The bosses are all superbly detailed, although that detail doesn’t truly get exposed until the Lilith vs Boss fights; but more of that later. The wild is a golden crown and the scatter is a demon gorilla head.

3, 4, or 5 scatters award 10-20, 15-30, and or 25-50 free spins. During free spins, there is a Vs symbol. Land 2 Vs symbols and Lilith will be transported to separate hellish landscape where she’ll do battle with one of the four bosses.
Once Lilith is transported to the Vs battle, clicking on the boss results in either a hit for Lilith, a block for the boss, or a hit for the boss. Defeating the boss awards 2 free spins. The victory also results in that boss symbol acting as a wild for the remainder of the free spins round.
During free spins, the Gorilla scatter symbol only appears on reel 5. Each time scatter lands on reel 5 it is collected and sent to a meter beneath the reel set. Collecting 3 scatters award 4 more free spins and also activates a 3x win multiplier which is then applied to every win for the remainder of the bonus round. If only 1 or 2 scatters are collected, then they will transform into random wilds for the final free spins
Our Thoughts on Lilith’s Inferno
Lilith’s Inferno is a fun-packed devilish romp of a game. It’s not the biggest payer but it is a reasonably frequent payer and the value for money is fantastic if you’re into slots with a little more interactivity than your straightforward high variance spin and go. It’s not going to be a big winner with the high variance big win seekers, but it’s unlikely this game was developed with that specific audience in mind. For those of you who like a blend of gambling slot and video gaming, then this is going to be perfect for you.
