Won big with my last money, need to quit

I have been a compulsive gambler now for over 2 years and it doesn't matter how much I win I just never stop. I always reverse withdrawals and try go for more and end up losing everything, every single time.

I had always paid my bills and never taken any loans to gamble for the longest time but it's starting to get worse now. I took my first loan in april to gamble and lost it all. My gambling is getting worse day by day and it's getting to a point where it could seriously ruin my life.

Last week I won 8k off a 400kr deposit and withdrew it, told myself I was never gonna gamble again and just keep this money. The next day I reversed the withdrawal and started doing 50kr spins because I am stupid. Managed to hit a crazy win and cashed out over 50000kr. When I got the money I instantly paid off my 20k gambling debt and some other stuff and had around 20k left in my bank account after that. I kept depositing over the next few days and was down to my last 3k, deposited 3k to a casino and went stupid bets and manged to hit a 25k win on viking runecraft. I am currently resisting my urge to cancel the withdrawal and I seriously need to just keep this 25k and not lose it.

I got extremely lucky and I am now debt free but I know the same thing will happen again if I don't stop. Please give me ideas to not deposit this money. I already installed betfilter on my computer a while back but I found casinos that weren't blocked and played on my phone.

After withdrawal lock the account instantly. :) Urges are bad and even myself tend to do some stupid shit, although I don't let it affect me in such manner that I'd have any kind of debt due to some hard restrictions I have in my mind :)

I contacted support and they have now locked my account forever and will still process the withdrawal. Good first step I guess. Just gotta make sure I don't redeposit it :(

 
Theres is no solution mate....

same with me, I deposit 2k DKR.-.. 280$  on Ps... then play some casino, cash game.. goes up 200$ or so... then in then bounty builder 33$.. I go ssemi deep... like 44/2500 o rso... win like 200$of that shit.. I decide itst time for NL500.... .... One hand all in AA vs KK. and QQ in a2.700$ pot.... and the fucking KK wins it. Im tiled :D

 
You 100% need help asap, get off this forum and any other gambling related site and stop watching streams and youtube videos related to gambling.

I hope you sort your life out mate as you could ruin your future if you continue on this path. Take care pal.

I know mate, I just don't know what to do, I tried GA meetings but it didn't work. I have betfilter installed on all my computers but there are sites that still work. I told my best mate and he's trying to help me out but I don't really know what he could do. I'm gonna try to call my municipality and see if they can offer some sort of help.

Also, if you can't get a grip on your gambling, give all of your finance control to a person you trust. Let that person release your finances when you need them for bills, food, etc. That's probably the smartest thing to do.

 
I have contacted my municipality and they offered to help me, going to meet some guy on monday and set up some sort of plan. I will also log off this website for a while, might come back and post updates but im gonna try to lay low on anything related to gambling for a while and I will try to stop watching streams and videos on youtube. Hope I can sort my shit out, peace everyone o7.

 
1. Whatever you do realise that it will all from now on just be a loss doesnt matter what you do. once you keep gambling it all away it wont matter how big the win is therefor you will allways keep loosing. 
2. Close all your accounts that you have registered ALL of them.
3. Think about all the problems there will be about opening new accounts and how bad you feel and felt and you don't wanna be in that situation again.
4. You have won back what you lost now 1 time that I can most likely guarantee you wont happen again so dont chase it anymoore or you will just dig yourself deeper. Take this as a loss it's not a huge sum it's alot of money but atleast you have the chanse to be free before you dig the grave so deep you are fucked forever.
5. When you feel the urge to gamble take a walk or something leave the phone at home with all electronics and just walk and keep walking.
6. It's hard but will be worth it being in this situation is not funny and im going trough it myself being free from gambling right now so if you need advices or just wanna chat or something  just pm me.

GL m8 think that it's not to late to quit now that you can do it and right now it feels bad but your debt is small so you should be able to pay it off with just the money you usually gambles away.

 
Update: Didn't gamble at all for around 2 months but then I had a relapse and accumulated a lot of debt and lost a lot of money again. I currently have a total debt of around $12000 but I haven't gambled now for almost 3 months and I'm going to 1 on 1 meetings with a professional every week since the GA meetings didn't work out for me.

I've paid off around $2k worth of debt already and I'm currently working full time and I've found a hobby that keeps me from thinking about gambling.

I manned up and told my parents about everything and they have been super supportive, they have control of all my money now. They just send money when I need it for food etc and I gave them access to my bank account so they can see if I gamble again. I called all the places I took loans from asking if they could block me from taking more loans so I'm at least blocked from a couple of them now.

I have urges to gamble occasionally but it's hard to gamble without money and my credit score is so bad now that it's hard to get a loan that doesn't have insane interest.

I realize that I have to be able to manage my own money at some point and I need to be able to not gamble when I have access to money but I feel like this is a good start. I've set up a plan to pay off my debt together with a financial advisor and it's working quite well so far. I was in a really dark place a couple of months ago with suicidal thoughts and stuff but after telling my parents and going to meetings I feel so much better. It actually feels like I have a way out of this shithole now, once and for all.

Good luck man, i just quit gambling as well. I highly suggest using a software that blocks casino websites.

That's a pretty rough story mate. Sorry you had to be one of the chosen ones.

My personal thoughts on the matter is only a very small number of us will be lucky enough to endure a life of gambling without it becoming a problem. For the rest it is just a case of when and how bad :-(
