Hi Cg! Long time lurker here, and now I need some tips.

Did a withdrawal of 90.000 NOK 19.03 with bank transfer. Leo approved it within 5 minutes. There it stops...

I contacted them approx. 6 days later and asked if everything was OK, and they told me to wait some more. The second time, early last week, they sent a paymentrequest to my bank. Still nothing....

Does anyone know whats up? Is this normal? On earlier withdrawals its been in my bank account within max 5 days.

First of all, this isn't exactly a complaint on Leovegas. They have been very helpful in the chat so far and earlier when I needed help. Top casino 👍

If your Norwegian it may be your bank blocking transaction, because our government has told them its illegal with gambling transactions.Have you spoken to your bank?

Or it may be delayed because of easter.

Just saw you withdrew 19.03 so Its not because of easter I guess.

The provider Leo use for bank transfer in Norway is really slow. It can take up to 10 banking days. From the 19th today is workday nr 9. With a lot of red days the last week I guess it wil comes this week. Maybe for next time, create a Ecopayz account, then you have the money instant. This is not about Leo but the provider they use to pay the Norwegian players. Hope you wil get the money soon

If they sent it using InPay = you're screwed.  They're great when it works.  When it doesn't it takes weeks to get any turn around or answers from them through the casinos.  I've been waiting three weeks for my withdrawal and they still haven't got back to videoslots about what the hold up is and where my money is.

Gambling illegal in norway? As i understood it, online casinos, except from Norsk Tipping, is heavily taxes on winnings over 10.000. But not illegal?

I'll look into Ecopayz. Used Muchbetter before, but didnt take the risk with such an large amount because I find it difficult to get ahold of them.

Oh no. Well, I Just hope thinks work out...been spending ridicilous amount om Leo over the past 3 years, so itll be Nice to get something back.

Will try to call my bank tomorrow and see if they have heard something about it.

Nah, all bettings sites except Norsk tipping are per defenition, Illegal to use.

In Norsk tipping if you win over 10k in one spin, it is taxed :/

Just contacted my bank. They sayd they May not accept transfers from casinos, but if so the money is returned to my account on the casino. And they dont have any info on transfers pending to a bank account.

Hopefully the money Will be returned, so I can use a wallet. Ill Just wait and see and ill update so other Norwegians players wont have to ask the same question 👍

So, all wins over 10k is taxed you say?

Where did you get that info?
*all wins in 1 spin. If you play and win 200k NOK, but you never hit a win over 10k at once, then u dont need to pay tax on it.

Info is on Norsk tippings pages :D

It's politics, and "extra tax". Norsk Tipping (the worlds most horrible Online Casino) is a huge contributor for extra tax cash from it's players. Our politicians know that opening up for unlimited online casinos would mean a huge income loss.

There is no law against online gambling in Norway as far as I know, but they can make our lives pretty hard by adding restrictions on where the banks are allowed to send and receive funds to/from.

It is also questionable whether Skatteetaten still can demand TAX on gambling wins anymore since Norsk-Tipping (the worlds most horrible Online Casino) also give access to the same type of games, and some even the exact same games one find on said Leo. The following text is copied and roughly translated from skatteetaten.no:

This applies, for example, to winnings obtained through foreign games and lotteries, etc. unless the King has granted permission for such games in this Norway, see above for exceptions for certain gambling and lotteries in other EEA countries.
