What does it take to be a good Jackpot chaser?

I guess one need a sufficient bankroll and also be able to watch and detect possible jackpots that are +EV spots.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

There is no strategy. Just pure luck that you can't make.

Playing higher bets on certain jackpot machines gives you a better chance of triggering the jackpot feature. But placing bigger bets also means bigger losses.

People have won jackpots on £0.40 stakes, just bare that into mind.

Play Mega Moolah between 4am and 6am (UK time) you can easily get the mini / minor jackpot at least a dozen times in a session. You never know if you may get lucky and win the major / mega :D

Even playing 1 line, you can hit the jackpot wheel which I have done many times over the years.

I think there is strategy involved.

Like selecting the good slot with an oversized jackpot at the right hours.

I mean you don't get more chances to win it, but if you do, it will be bigger.

I don't shoot for Mega jackpots; medium and small are most likely my targets.

Yes sir you are correct there is a strategy and I once read a very interesting interview with someone who was a professional slot player.

The first thing you need is an incredibly huge bankroll. Like absolutely massive.

The second is, as you mention, chasing the jackpots that are either overdue or +EV (if lucky enough to know).

The third is you require significant amounts of IT equipment although with cloud computing / virtualisation this is less important.

The last thing.you need is as many accounts and simultaneous active sessions as possible so you can effectively 'syndicate' the chasing of the jackpot. I think 40+

In the story I read the guy the guy didn't explicitly which jackpots he chased but it was given away by an innocent comment and I'm fairly sure the marvel playtech jackpots were his speciality. It sounded super stressful though because at one point I think he was 300k GBP into chasing a 350k jackpot which of course has no guarantees.

As you can probably imagine this story has left a lasting impression on me :-)

All I will say is, ask Nickslots (sorry to mention your name here mate, I hope you don't mind). The other week he was chasing a jackpot because it was due.

Never chase comps, never chase bonuses, never chase your losses, never chase jackpots and you will be better off.

1. Bankroll.

2. Knowledge of the games. When is which jackpot about to go, can you get away with playing less lines, which stake is optimal, etc.

3. Keeping track of local jackpots at different sites.

There's definitely strategy to it. If it's worth it.. Don't dare to say

I know Kim is watching the Mega Joker jackpot for +EV shots at it. But this is not my kind of machine at all.

I'm looking at local jackpots that go almost every day for over $1000. I already won one playing at 30 cents so I know it can be triggered at low stake too.

I know I'm not the only jackpot chaser for that jackpot because they arrive as soon as it gets to a decent size. And a few minutes later it gets snatched away.

The way I see it is that I let other fund the jackpot and I come and try to take it when it is peaking.

I think my biggest problem is the bankroll issue. It is not sufficient to rival with the pro chasers.

Anyway one lucky spin is all it takes!

When you say local jackpots are you referring to land based casinos?

If you are then surely it's not the bankroll that's the issue but the number of machines which can be played simultaneously to maximise winning the jackpot?

I know in Vegas there are syndicates who go after slots once they are +EV.

Forgot to mention it before but you should take a look at a website called jackpot graphs. I'm sure you'll find daily jackpots which meet your criteria.

Good luck

There was a slot machine in Vegas that had a jackpot, that was never won for over 15 years. It is not due, it is not oversized, it is not rigged or what ever. It is pure luck. Recently, a guy in the UK won two jackpots on the same machine in 1 week.

A few days ago i hit the major prize in night life and the truth is only one shot, i was lucky i won $2000, and it was about 20 shots
