You get higher in the list, if you go to the slot section of twitch the first stream showing is the one with the most views, so him view botting makes legitimate viewers more likely to click on his stream and less likely on legitimate streamers, people like him and Roshtein should be in prison getting views he does not deserve, glorifying gambling while not using real money themselves and making it all seems awesome and good to do to the average viewer who has no clue about these casinos, getting people to click his affiliate link to some shady casino and earning him money.
The more views, and stuff the better popularity rating. This makes the channel be promoted on top of relevant searches on twitch. I could be wrong, but i think thats what viewbotting does.
