I understand about optimal play but are we sure the value of holding 2 off-suit high cards rather than just one of them is worth blocking the primo hands?

I see Kim, Hampus and Moritz play this way and it makes no sense as they are mad gamblers but this is pussy play imo.

It's like surrendering or buying insurance in BJ which they don't do. 

 
I don't know for sure myself but I assume it's the right call if they're doing it. A lot of the RTP is in the pairs I believe
