Think its unfair ( Blackjack )

Hello everybody ,

So i was playing Rizk blackjack yesterday ( Evolution ) , it was me playing 2 seats and another player playing 1 seat . I got blackjack on onehand and soft 15 on another hand . it was against dealers 8 so the blackjack was declared with the symbol on my seat .



So far was it was looking good i was playing last 2 seats and  i made a predecision to hit soft 15 as you should playing optimal . The other player hit and got 3 and 19 total for him  but the dealer took out 2 cards by mistake 3 and then my 5 , he revealed the cards and minutes later pitboss cancelled the game . 

It would have been soft 20 for me against dealers 8 and most likely a winning hand  ( no idea why it shows 5 in the dealers hand in the below picture it was supposed to be mine ) . 

I am not worried about the second hand but in my opinion i think i should have been paid for my BJ hand atleast as it was declared early against dealers 8 . Imagine if someone was playing 1000s and got BJ then this happens. 

I understand malfunction voids all pays but shouldnt they honor the declared Blackjack which occured before the dealers  mess ?

As a degen got tilted, kept playing never got a BJ again  and lost all my  salary, my fault i know .

Not really trying to get money from casino just want to know what you guys think about this ?

Well, what happened sucks big time and even more so that you got tilted.

I know how easily tilt can get triggered in blackjack.
Others get tilted easily in playing roulette because of near misses or funny bounces.

Without having checked the exact rules of Evolution blackjack or Rizk, I find it plausible that game rounds can be canceled because of mistakes.
(for example a dealer getting two cards at once from the deck)

If I recall correctly, in some cases I have seen other solutions to the specific issue of the dealer pulling two cards than canceling of the game round though.

When a game round is canceled, all bets are void and returned as if nothing happened. 
In that regard, you should not get paid your blackjack unfortunately.

What really stinks is that you got tilted and lost a lot of money.
If you are prone to tilting and still want to play, you might want to self-teach a mindset that makes you go on tilt a lot less.

Personally, I play a lot of blackjack, and have taught myself never to figure out what had happened if the game had gone a little differently.
For example players who deviate from basic or other strategy, both for blatant 'stupid' plays as for the marginal decisions such as passing on 16 against a good dealer card.

It is wasted energy, in the end the lucky times even out the unlucky times, 
(so there is no need to leave when playing at a table full of droolers, as is usually the case  )
and if it did not, it is not going to change the results anyway.

Better luck in the future and try not to tilt too much!

in netent live casino you get paid blackjack money instantly and if they make a mistake they pause the round and fix the problem. I've been in your situation a few times in evolution gaming it feels extremely unfair but theres nothing  you can do about it.

@vanHooff I agree mate , i need to learn to control and avoid getting triggered . what really got me was I lost 3 times in a row before that hand ( wish dealer made mistakes that time )  and was finally happy when i saw the BJ , felt like a miracle . When it was taken away i was annoyed and lost all the balance and lost myself in few minutes . Then kept on repositing until my bank account was 0 like a true degen . I wish i had ur mindset. 

@mallerdt Instant BJ payout sounds fair as mistakes which happen later shouldnt be able take away the blackjack . As i said i am not at all worried about my second hand  i accept its just that BJ hand which hurts me .  And yes i know i cant do anything about it unfortunately maybe just avoid evolution tables bcoz i get triggeted easily

That's the problem with these live games when a mistake is made , the help offered is never at the time of the incident and instead you are directed to live support who go thru all the same details even though they already have the information in front of them , then they give you a reference number and say they will be in contact with you once they have an investigation. These investigations can take weeks or months and when they do resolve it eventually , it always goes in their favour !!   in my opinion the live support is about as useful as a pair of glasses given to a  man with 1 ear  !    i rarely play live games now as all my complaints have never been dealt with properly or in my favour.

Hello guys , 

So as I mentioned in my original post i wasnt trying to get the money from casino  but just thought it was really unfair for not getting paid especailly after having a BJ declared with a symbol on my seat.

I didnt make any complaints with casino or evolution I was just upset with myself because i got triggered after that hand and kept redepositing until my bank account was 0 . 

So got an email out of nowhere yesterday. Its only 50 euros but  a valuable lesson indeed . Fair play from rizk , in future no matter where i play or what i play , i will raise a complaint when i think something is unfair.

Shame that they cancelled the game, most of the time I play on the live tables, they seem to call pitboss, then deal the cards as they should have been dealt. Nice risk sorted you out your winnings in the end.  

Remember cancelled games can also go in your favour
