New rules from the UKGC which requires autoplay to be removed from all slots has started to be implemented by many UK casinos........

For me, this is end of me playing online slots. There is no way I am going to sit and click hundreds/thousands of times, especially for high variance slots. Normally i'd have 2 or 3 slots running on auto play; manually clicking or auto clicker is just not going to be practical.

I logged on to Sky Vegas tonight, many games gone, no more autoplay. Perseveered for an hour and got bored clicking. Went to roulette instead and lost my  deposit in minutes. This would have typically lasted a few hours on slots. I am not sure this was UKGC's desired effect.

Just use auto clicker whats they difference
Well I guess for starters, he said that he plays multiple slots at a time, not possible with auto clicker.

I've been using an auto clicker and since I only play one slot at a time it hasn't been too much of a problem, my biggest issue with it is it takes away the fun of any big wins.  Whereas before you'd hit a big base game win and it's like time stood still, then the machine would start racking up the big win and it would build the excitement as to how much you'd won, with auto clicker it's already clicked it and moved on to the next spin before you even realise you've had a big win.

I'd be more worried about the reduction of RTPs (Return to Player) than a smaller concern like auto spins. There are sites that now have Play n Go slots as low as 91% such as Aspire Global sites and most now run Pragmatic slots at around 94% rather than 96%. Even low volatility providers are reducing slots from around 96% to around 94% and sites like Leo Vegas and Videoslots are taking those games at those RTPs. This is a disgrace and something us UK slotters should be complaining about and boycotting sites and games who do this. This is very significant to games users balances.

The massive problem with regulation in the U.K, is that people with zero gambling experience and knowledge are making decisions and implementing regulations within an industry that they have little knowledge, and no first hand experience.

This for example.
Removing auto-spins is not something that will reduce the amount of problem gamblers. If anything, having auto-spins allows you to keep track of just how many spins you've put through the slot, instead of mindlessly clicking and not knowing just where you're at.
Aside from it being super annoying, someone in a board meeting has just decided that it must contribute to problem gambling without likely ever playing a slot machine in their lives.

The wider issue with regulations that don't actually provide any benefit and simply are a huge inconvenience and deterrent, is that it will just push players onto unregulated platforms, such as the shady crypto casinos instead, where they can enjoy things like bonus buys' and auto spins, but are then at risk of not being able to take advantage of responsible gambling features, such as self exclusions and deposit limits.
