I’ve made plenty of mistakes but the fault lies with me.
Streamers are open about the dangers of gambling.

Oh lord, I think you got a serious problem. Streamers are forcing noone to gamble, it's no secret that they earn money by promoting casinos but it's your own decision if you want to gamble or not. You get some extra rewards if you take their deals but noone forces you to take them. Most streamers even say that they would not gamble and if you do make sure to only use money you can afford to lose.
You should ALWAYS see a deposit you make as lost money. If you don'T want to lose money, you don't make a deposit. It's simple as that.
And now do yourself a favor and get professional help instead of blaming anyone for you gambling habits.

It’s no secret that streamers/affiliates are the “street level drug dealers”. It’s a low moral and 0 integrity way to make money. It has a negative impact on society as a whole. In essence, it’s 0 sum.
With that said, watching slots and playing them are my vice (I am independently well off from real life work and play far below my means). That doesn’t change mine or society’s lowly perspective on streamers as a whole, though. That’s why I purposely avoid using their links to support them in any way.
I do believe that streaming slots is an incredibly predatory practice, for a variety of reasons. I am quite certain the gambling streams are a short term venture for those looking to capitalize on the market.
To the original poster: You are your own worst enemy. Just because they feed it to you, you don’t have to eat it. Seek help. Get your life on track.
To all of the affiliates/streamers: You can do and say whatever you want in regards to helping people with gambling addictions, but you have no moral compass. Zero. None. You are literally a tentacle of a casino. You have little to no employable talent or skill set, so you prey on weak individuals for your own monetary gain. dont blame the streamer they dont forced you to gamble ,if you need help so just asked fore help to not blame people fore your choice
all have we lost money on slots but i cant blame the streamer fore what i do .So just grow up and take some responsibility fore your gambling promblems and asked friends or family fore help stop blame everbody fore your problems

I am quite certain I am one of those “trolls” that you’re referring to. I knew what I said was unpopular on this platform. That in itself, doesn’t make me a troll. I am 100% certain that if you step outside this microcosm of gamblers, I actually fall within the vast majority of society.
Since I said what I said I should at least entertain your well thought out response. I made no accusations, nor did I place any blame. I firmly believe that people are responsible for their own actions. With that being said, if there were no dealers then only the worst addicts would seek. When there is one on every corner and readily available, the totality of addictions will inevitably increase. Why else would these casinos offer payment in form of bonuses and affiliation to streamers? There is a reason “street level dealers” (I use this analogy because it’s very close-most of them sell because they are supporting their own habit - seem familiar?) are so poorly thought of.
I did make one assumption, (the lack of employable skill sets statement is the one I’m referring to) and I stand by it because I am quite certain I am qualified to do so, maybe not in all cases. It is based on many successful years of managing people and building companies.
However, your statement left rationale out, and implied a generic defensiveness. For the record, I don’t think streamers are “bad people” per se. At best, they are opportunist in denial; at worst, they are predatory soul-suckers.
My intent was not to be a “troll”. My intent was to speak the thoughts of the vast majority of our society on a platform to hopefully provide a bit of perspective.

I must apologize for my outburst the other day I felt really bad now about it because I wasn't completely fair. It's my resposibilty to control my gambling and it's unfair to blame others because of my issues. We all know gambling is entertainment but in my case it has damaged me in sooo many ways that I understand now that I just have to quit so I can get my life back.
The good news is that I have blocked all casinos and my cards and everything so I need to get some help right away. It's not just about the money that I've lost it's more about the way I feel about myself and that I am desperately trying to win at least something back but I know now that's its not gonna happen. I just have to deal with it and accept it. Again, I'm sorry I hope you understand that I was just really upset. Please if you think you have a problem and you are losing a lot and feel bad about it take a breake. I wish you all the best! Thank you // Z

Guess I’m a bit jaded but, as far as I am concerned, society has no moral high ground. Really see very little realised ideals. Just the same greed, self gratification and self hate that is distilled in the slots microcosm.

No, I do not care to share my source of wealth (I make a very good income and live a comfortable life - I’m not driving Ferrari’s and hopping on yachts). I suppose it doesn’t matter. I was simply pointing out that I am not jaded whatsoever towards gambling. It hasn’t created financial hardships, and the same goes for casino streamers. If I were, I don’t think I would be able to make a very unbiased assessment.
My intention wasn’t to voice an opinion for society as a whole, but you don’t have to be very intelligent to realize that someone who makes money as a gambling affiliate isn’t going to be well respected or well looked upon in society.
I agree that you can find a level of greed in a variety, if not every form of business. That greed however is not necessarily earmarked with insidious behavior like the topic we are discussing. Greed, in and of itself can be a fantastic motivator if used correctly. I really didn’t intend to engage in a back and forth with anyone, but I don’t want what I said to be misunderstood. So, I feel more or less compelled to clarify my thoughts whilst you attempt to poke holes. You can’t poke holes in an opinion by the way, but you’re certainly welcome to your own.
Listen, I understand that what I stated could be offensive to an affiliate streamers “profession” but it wasn’t directed at anyone in particular. It was a blanket statement. The streaming business in regards to gambling is out of control. They’re far worse than the casinos themselves when it comes to painting an inaccurate picture of gambling. Not to mention, we have no idea what is genuine and what is not. They all make subtle jabs towards the others they aren’t in cahoots with. Then they pretend to be white knights in a business composed entirely of wolves.
