Greetings punters,

I have been talking about the Spurs v Burnley game nonstop for the past few weeks in @LetsGiveItASpin's chat so I finally decided to post something on here about it.

Several bets for this match are an incredibly good value and I will rank them from low-volatile to high-volatile to best fill everyone's betting style

LOW VOLATILE

Spurs to score over1.5 (total match) -- @1.66

Spurs to score over 1.5 & Both teams to score -- @2.6 (**)

Total goals over 3.5 -- @2.9

Total goals over 3.5 AND Both teams to score -- @3.4

Total goals over 3,5 AND both teams to score AND kane to score -- 4.80 (**)

HIGH VOLATILE

**These bets I think are exceptionally good value at the odds shown

My thought process is that the momentum for Spurs to have a high-scoring match as of late has been utterly insane and the odds for goal-scoring do not represent their recent performance. Spurs also has a pattern of conceding a goal (or several goals) almost every game in recent weeks. Additionally, Kane has scored in every high-scoring game as of late, so if you would like to stack some volatility i think pairing a kane goal with a high scoring match is a match made in heaven.

RISK INVOLVED

I do not want to mislead anyone here -- @Taffophile makes a good point on Burnley's recent 0-0 as well as the pattern of Spurs struggling with teams like Burnley which could result in a low-goals match. Spurs did tie to Newcastle 1-1 only a few weeks ago and all of this momentum has been against teams a bit different than Burnley. Please keep in mind that, although I have gotten lucky as of late, all of you should do research into these bets as well!

Some armchair thinking:

I would be concerned that if Burnley is unable to score (so far 3 goals scored in 4 matches) , Spurs have little incentive to keep the foot on the gas on a 0-1 or even 0-2 score, specially given the busy schedule because of Europa League matches.

I do think this sounds intersting and I love my man @DrJoofy what would all of those give you in a bet builder? Might have a punt, I've also pinged blanco about this thread :D  

 
first half over 1.5 goals in burnley v spurs. paying a generous 2.63 thats insanely good value. so thats any 2 goals from either team. sticking at least 10-20 on this. 

 
Id ber very careful with Burlney to score, they have a lot of problems to score. Both against Southampton & Newcastle they had expected Goals on 0.35 then 0.44 which is extreeemly bad . It was a bit higher against WB, when they mad it over 1 ->1.09 but did not manage to score.

Spurs is a bit volotile in the defense. But with full starting eleven I think they will be quite tight in the back and if i know the chosen one correct they have ONLY had defense in training the latest since the attack has been brilliant.

What went wrong? -- I think that the bets were still a reasonably value BUT i severely underestimated the strength of the 'brickwall' burnley defense xD. I am still learning for sure
