SOW verification on casumo

3 weeks ago my headache started with Casumo I won £ 7000 the next day I had to do source of wealth but while I was not able to deposit, three days later my account was canceled after the mails started asking for everything unimaginable and every day you go a new document asked me for my annual profit because I have a company my accountant sent me what he usually sends to hrmc and they told me they didn’t accept it, I don’t know what to do to get this money back, which was what I won.Thanks Joao

They are a nightmare. I had the same. After advice on here I outright refused. I did some digging and if they had the opportunity to request the info previous to your withdrawal request  then they have to pay out. I pointed this out to them and I got my money. It wasn’t as much as yours but makes no difference. They always do it when you have a pending withdrawal. Demand your money or threaten the ombudsman.

Terrible casino... i have recently recieved an email saying my account will be closed after waiting two weeks for account verification, obviously after trying to make a decent sized withdrawal. Can anyone tell me will i still receive my money after account closure as i cant get in contact with them now

Truth is there is too many dickheads playing slots risking their last money and money their beloved or miney of their friends thays why they need to do that and i dont see anything wrong about it.hopefully your get your money and im pretty sure u will but i also think that verification Process should bit different all the players should be verified before even deposit so at least they could avoid this kind of issue.

The reason for SOW checks is due to AML regulations. To actually cover their backsides, it is necessary to trace funds as far back as possible, because pay statements or deposits on a bank statement don't provide enough detail on their own to show that the funds are from a clean source. It could also be argued that only conducting SOW checks before the first deposit allows money launderers to clean up their bank statements before establishing a relationship with a casino, and fly under the radar afterwards. That said, having a SOW check before making the first deposit would be better for the vast majority of players than the status quo.
