Some questions

I will appreciate if you guys can enlighten me about the below questions regarding slots at online casinos;

1) Is the RTP calculated globally or based on a casino,region etc? If it is global, it means a casino can lose money from a slot while another casino can make money from the same slot. If it is calculated for each casino, it is a sure win for the casino but it means we better not play unpopular slots at casinos.
2) The selections you make on bonuses; are they pre-determined no matter what you select or is it really we select what we are getting? For example; are we really determining the outcome by selecting the features/number of coins at games like Secret of the Stones or Blood Suckers, or is it already determined for us no matter what we select?
3) Is it possible that the software provider may reject paying you a global jackpot becuase you are from a restricted country for that provider even though the casino allows that specific country to play at their casino?

good questions :)

regarding 2)

i believe most slots are predetermined. I did once try in Golden Fishtank, in bonus before i picked the last item, i reloaded the game, and you can select all over again, but no matter where you pick, you will get the same symbol. So this is very predetermined.

Once in danger high voltage, i got into bonus where i choose high voltage or gates, but i was away from pc so session timed out, and when reloading the game it couldnt resume. so i had to contact casino support, and they had to contact the provider to get the game round completed. i got my win directly onto my account, but i never had the chance to choose feature. so in this slot i'm pretty sure its predetermined.

But, then there are other examples, like bonus in wish upon a jackpot and three musketeers where you are handed out an money offer that you can accpet or reject. I guess the bonus has an max possible predetermined win, but still this win is based on your picks.

This is just my thoughts, please share if anyone have other examples :) I guess the slotproviders will never reveal the truth anyway :P

Hey @masterDD!

1. RTP is calculated on many variables to be as random as possible, but it is most certainly not based on which casino you are playing at.

2. Most of the bonuses are pre-determined, so your picks don't really matter. As @pausefisk said in his post, he got his win credited due to an expired player session. Picks are there for creating illusion of you having a choice which isn't there in the first place. That's what gets us hooked to slots :)

3. Yes, I would assume so, since it's casino's duty not to provide you with the slots that are restricted in your country in the first place. However if they do provide them, then they are most likely breaking their license agreements with suppliers. One could argue if that is the case, you could probably force the casino to pay you out the winnings or have some compensation since they didn't prevent you from playing restricted slots in your country.
