What are the possible reasons for this happening?

Streamer loads up the online casino and has a balance of $5000

Picks and enters a game

The balance in that game is $0

Exits that game 

Picks and enters a different game

The balance in this game is now $5000

The first game picked is a Pragmatic which is participating in Pragmatic's prize drops and tournament promotion. Would that make the balance $0 if the promotion only accepts real money bets?

Just curious; what are the potential reasons why the balance would show as $0?

I've seen it on some casinos already - like LeoVegas, when the old bonus was still in play. You opened up Fruit Warp for example and it showed balance 0.

I would say it's merely technical restriction from Casino's side so you can't "abuse" on high RTP slots or like you stated the tournaments on Pragmatic Play slots.

Think it was a raw balance or one on which the wagering had been cleared.

Wasn't a casinogrounds streamer.

I have experience this but only with bonus money on games with exstra prices added.
