Hi sorry to bother you all

need a bit of advice

my wife set up a account with sky bet with her card details et. 4 years ago added my card at some point to which we been loading money in from both accounts since we open the account withdrawing money when needed to

last week I put in to my account 1150 to my card had we have never had any issues

last night I mange to get a good win and wanted to withdraw it but because it was a large amount it wanted to spilt it with a old card (mine) so I added 2 cards to this account loaded and withdrew money so I contacted skybet to ask them to delete the card as it was intact a old card and to that they suspended my account and locked my winnings and want all documents again 4 years of having this account never have I won a large amount or tried to withdraw it

I’ve read a lot online about cards using ur own etc et.
but 4years of using there service adding and withdrawing money last week £1150 not a mention of it they hit us with this

can any one advise

I won’t let this sit I will try get to the bottom of this

it’s way to unfair to allow us to load money for 4 years and then to then suspend the account when we actually win

any help will be much appreciate

We have sent all they asked for waiting on a reply

just seems like they pick and choose when to suspend people’s accounts

Think its generally fine if its a between husband/wife, wait for them to verify it. Word of advice, skybet offers horrendous odds out of all the major bookies in UK, i do not recommend you to use them for sports betting. They are under the same company as Betfair and Paddypower and skybet is the worst out of the 3, mainly targeting mug bettors that do not care about the odds they take.

So I have a post up on here too where I won £25,000 and made a withdraw, with Virgin Games and they voided the withdraw and closed the account.

I deposited £63 on my partners card and in their ridiculous and horrible written terms and conditions they try to state that you can’t deposit with another card in your name, I’ve basically got a legal company costing me £2,500 to tackle this as the terms and conditions aren’t in ‘plain English’ as they say.

I looked into the terms and conditions on SkyBet and they are written perfect, everything is in detail so you may struggle. HOWEVER, as it’s her account and at whatever point you added your card and since that date any deposits made from that card can be collected back by then.

I also verified all the documents Virgin wanted, along with selfie’s with every card, bank statements, photo ID that they requested before they said no, sorry.

They also say there is no way to check that cards aren’t deposited in the account users name, which is a lie. They are happy to your your money but when a big win comes along they refuse to payout.

good luck

As I’ve took some time to read up about this I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews about sky bet and I don’t think I would use them again I also didn’t no that u could only take out what u deposit

if I’m a new costumer and load £10 and Win £600 I would only be able to withdraw £10

now I literally don’t see the point of taking the risk of betting if all u are aloud to do is lose money and never be in profit again ive only just found this out as I’ve never won a good amount and only loaded the company
