PlayNGo different RTP's at different Casinos

Think I heard someone say the same thing about Novomatics, might be Kim, but I'm not sure, can anyone confirm this?

 
Interesting read @Slotplayer. Thanks for bringing it up, I'm sure it will make more people aware to look at the slot help file or where they will play in future..

 
I think most legit casinos would always chose the highest RTP but it's a shame if well known brands started picking the lower ones. Is the RTP always stated in the sheet? @Slotplayer Novomatic are extremely big and have a lot of landbased machines which are way lower for sure, I also think that casinos can pick lower RTP (not as low as land based though) if they prefered. Best thing would be to have more strict regulations that forces casinos to always show the RTP of the actual machine @Beenji

 
Very poor decision on behalf of Play N Go to down this route. I'm going to look into how something like this gets through UKGC regulations where they have to evidence RTP.  I assume they submit an application per RTP setting, per machine. I've never really looked into this but perhaps the information is publicly available but if not there must be a way of obtaining it. Hmmmmm.

 
If you read the whole thread on casinomeister, one member contacted a playngo rep and got a reply also stating that this is the industry norm!! That means net ent,mg and all the other ones also have this option. 

And also the rep stated that malta and uk lisenced casinos must show rtp of particular game but not in curacao... my only question is if they can alter the rtp as they see fitt on any given day. And if they can give one player lower rtp than another player fore example. 

Another thing to note is it is 100% certain all slots do not run on a rng picking reel positions. The randomness works of a par sheet. The slot has a hit frequency and a certain pay stucture. Rng picks first winning or losing spin then it picks the amount won from the avalible prices in the par sheets.

This is pretty obvious on the new version of dead or alive where u can clearly see a scatter two positions above another scatter on the same reel. The old version didd not have this. And we all know that it is not possible to get two scatters on the same reel. Also a full screen of wilds is not possible in this game. 

The maximum payout is slightley above 10000x stake. I have had this win once 10300x stake and ive seen two other screenshots of the pretty much simulat wild settup(3 wildlines) so this is obviously the jackpot. Basicly all this info proves that we players are being decived by the casinos. There should be clear info on each games rtp and clear info what winning combinations are possible. 

This is just one game example.. all slots work like this only exeption i think is the older mg slots that maybe worked toral 100% random. But ALL newer games run on these par sheets. Basicly it allows them to lower the rtp without the players ever noticing because the reels would look identical but certain combinations may not be possible in the lower rtp versions.

I don't want to go all crazy about the whole slots are rigged thing.

But after suddenly winning loads of money in december and then always going broke and barely getting any bonuses at all this month tbh it feels like someone just pushed a "Let this guy win money" button, and now they suddenly turned it of again lol

The difference from last month to this month is just so big its unbelievable

This is absolute rubbish - i've been working in this industry for 20+ years and i've never (yet) worked anywhere, or know of anywhere that designs maths like this. That doesn't mean it doesn't happen in some very dodgy companies, but i can tell you now none of the big guys do this... 

Of course, every slot has a hit frequency and a pay structure - but this is determined by the structure of the reel bands and the weightings of the reel stop positions (if the game uses weighted reel strips)...

I'm not even going to get involved in the "rigged" argument - they aren't rigged, but of course they can sometimes feel it - that's just the nature of random i'm afraid!

 
I was going to say something similar but in the UK at least some companies seem to be using precomputed values stored in a database which is then presumably selected using an RNG. I only know this because I was surprised to read it on one of the UKGC consultancy papers on game fairness and auditing.

I'm guessing over 20 years you've developed quite a few slots. Care to share the names of any so we can determine if we are in the company of greatness? 

 
I might be wrong but since they can alter the rtp and keep the same reels i assumed this was the case. I know some slots in american land based casinos use this method.
