Ok been told this one years ago. play any 243 microgaming slot. 25 spins at one stake then 25 spins at a higher stake then 25 spins at an even bigger stake and the theory is you bonus it within 75 spins doing this.

The guy who told me this did it on Immortal, T2, finer, jurassic park 1, thunderstruck 2, lost vegas etc.  pick yer poison, but only works on Microgaming :P  

 
Autoplay 1000 spins or more on respin circus, you wont get a bonus, the bonus in that game is a myth.

When you trigger the bonus and get the picking option (most common):

Once the options for picking appear, wait until one of the options flashes

--> Choose the option that flashed first, you never get the "X"

For me, in years of playing those slots, it has never been the "X", sample size must be hundreds). If I remember correctly, 4-5 options are "X", so in order to be a bit more scientific, trigger a few bonuses with the picking option.
