In 2017 I registered on 21.co.uk and after losing money I self excluded from their site for 5 years. Earlier this year I registered for leovegas and after losing money I realised they were a sister site of 21 I spoke to the customer service chat to sort the problem and was told to speak to 21 about it.

When I spoke to them they tried to change it to say I had just took a time out (which I know wasn’t true) and wasn’t self excluded from their site. They then said I tried do self exclude and log onto the 21 site earlier this year even though I was self excluded (or on a temporary time out ) according to them! They changed the dates etc to suit themselves and conned me out of giving me my deposits back and made things up so that they could get out of it! Do do not use these sites as they will Take your money.

I have transcripts etc if anyone wishes to see, the only one thing I don’t have is the photo evidence of the self exclude from last year. But I know for a fact I did it as I also self excluded from about 5 other casinos. And when checked with them since I am still self excluded.

So you self excluded from the LeoVegas group and are unhappy that they kept up the self exclusion like you asked them to originally? I am struggling to see what they have done wrong here.

I deposited money on leovegAs not knowing they were a sister site of 21. When I confronted 5em to complain as I should not have been able to deposit on their site due to being already self excluded from 21.co.uk they told me they would look into the matter. They then told me that I wasn’t self excluded from 21 but only on a break - I know this is not true as I know the difference between self excluding and taking a break. Also I wasn’t able to log into 21 to check as it said I had self excluded. 

The point is they took my deposits when they shouldn’t have. iF I had won on their site they would have come back and said they weren’t paying me due to already being self excluded on their sister site. 

If your self excluded from a website as far as I’m aware you can’t register on a sister site. I didn’t know leovegas were a sister site until someone told me afterwArds.

Just see gambling companies for what they are. 
Criminals, thiefs. Many words to describe them. 

You will just end up wasting tons of energy.

According to LeoVegas own tearms if you are excluded from a sister site of LeoVegas then you shouldn't be able to play on their site, if LeoVegas missed that they are obbligated to pay back the deposits you've made.

 
21.co.uk were previously run by IP&S before March 2018. Leo Vegas will claim that they can't hold up the self exclusion because they weren't part of the group when it occurred. However, you would think that all associated accounts should have been transferred to the LV Group as part of the takeover.

Reason I am aware is that I am speaking to someone who has an issue with 21.co.uk from the past and they have been instructed to deal with the previous owners.

The original bets with 21.co.uk were in 2017 so that’s probably why they are trying to get out of it. They started saying I logged into 21 on the day I played at leovegas even though I know that to be untrue. Some of their messages with the support chat at leovegas was very dodgy to say the least. They just seemed to make up dates I had logged into both accounts and ‘took a break’ all to suit their argument. It has left me a very bitter taste in my mouth with regards to online casinos. For one thing i will now never use another one again as it seems impossible to win! 

 
I’ll be very surprised if this gets resolved,

according to them I logged into 21.co.uk a couple of months ago and didn’t make any bets etc but then proceeding to take a break. Atexact,y the same time I logged into leovegas and deposited money and bet with them. My question is why would I not have bet on 21 if I was able to use the account and log in! and why would I have opened an account on leovegas ! Because 21 was self excluded for 5 years I know it was! 

Also so I asked them when I last bet on 21 and they said it was in 2017 which was over 12 months prior to this. That’s the day I self excluded! 

 
Be very careful with LeoVegas these days. I dont know what there is happening but i do know the company should be avoided. Chat is almost never there, cashouts take longer than before (like couple of days now). They advertise campaigns and bonuses but then dont credit them and just make up some bullshit stories as well as try to blame it on the player. 

Maybe its a good casino for a streamer to play on, normal players not so much anymore :/

 
Must admit, I am now up to 45 days waiting for a resolution to an old issue I escalated with them.....

Cashouts are the quickest I have ever dealt with. Minutes in my case.

 
We will see but I bet they just try to fob off as usual. I Will just continue posting about this everywhere I can until I get it resolved. 

 
So you made a deposit. did not win. And now you want youre money back ?

I you won a lot. You gave it back to them aswel ofcourse ?

 
If I had have won on the deposits that day they wouldn’t have paid me stating their terms and conditions state you cannot deposit and play if your self excluded on a sister site. They cant have it both ways!

Tend to agree with this as a general rule. However, if it was during IP&S times owning the casino then there are problems with it I would say because you would not actually have been excluded by a Leo Vegas company at that point. Its all down to whether LV honored exisiting exclusions when they bought it over.

 
I tend to agree with Ayrshire, it will get played like that. However, in general, I think I would back the view that they can not have it both ways like mike says. There is too little focus on responsible gambling by operators and making it a priority to match databases regarding self exclusion should be a priority, and currently I can easily picture operators not even having it part of the M&A process.

Also if I may Mike, please stop gambling online. If you felt the need to self exclude, dont go and play anywhere, it's time to stop. It shouldn't matter if they are a sister site or not, no casinos should be played at.
