Greetings CasinoGround Community!
I went on a weekend getaway to a tiny middle-of-nowhere town in the Midwest of the USA called Effingham, Illinois. Myself and Ms. Joofy went to a local restaraunt and as it got late we asked where to go to grab a drink which ended up being a place called "Trucker's Pub" (it is real, look it up).
Long story short -- the place was as 'Merica as it gets -- something really cool to experience coming from a larger city.
They had one of those jukeboxes that allow you to select songs so, of course, i went with the best song in the world -- comfortably numb.
Before i knew it, LITERALLY, everyone in the bar was singing along with the song. The woman sitting next to me said "oh my god who played this", i said it was me and that a german person introduced it to me last week. She said "this was the song that was playing the first time i kissed my husband over 20(!!) years ago!" She teared up a bit and it was a very kind moment. Of course many drinks were had and friends were made.
Slots inside of bars are also a thing in this state so i had my first go on a slot machine -- i played some book of ra! no luck but it was fun
