Tiki Thunder (Slotmill) is unique because I usually don’t play games with this kind of theme.
It has a very big multiplier. In my first 200 spins it was hard to get a bonus spin,
But when I reached my last 500 spins, it started giving bonus spins often, but the wins were small.
The game is fun to play because of its design and features.
I think it has potential, but it needs better payouts to be more exciting.

My review:
I enjoy cluster games, so this was fun. From what I noticed the super super bonus, with the mystery symbol was exciting! Even the regular 8 spins, or the 12 spins bonus paid really well. Sound effects were on point for what the game was, with just enough of the "tiki" feel to the sounds.
Having a multiplier ladder keeps you on the edge of your seat with every cascade.

This game didn't feel like it was scripted, like some games and each bonus felt like a unique experience.

There truly was no cons to this game, and I don't have anything negative to say. Of course I would love it to pay every single spin but that's not realistic. Gambling is about entertainment, and this game definitely kept me entertained on each spin.

Tiki Thunder is released to be the quiet underdog. If you looked at it face value you wouldn't guess it has 40 000x max win, but it does.
And good news for everyone who does not have a British passport, there are 0 pots in this Slot, so none of that precious RTP is wasted there. 5+ cluster pays, sometimes gives big 2x2 blocks and rarely gives even 3x3 blocks what in a wet dream scenario happens when you have built up a big multiplier. Multiplier doubles after every avalanche hit. There is also a Thunder Surge feature which gives you a head start on the muktiplier. Not a big fan of that myself, i find it to be a waste of perfectly good RTP but can't have a perfect slot only for me so I'm sure average player will not mind it. This slot might look like a good wager killer, but don't let the appearance fool you, this is volatile as hell and before you know it you might have finished the wager with 4x the balance or you might find yourself with an empty balance before you even manage to wager 30%. For the fan of big multipliers as myself, this is a 10/10 slot.

6/10 mid tier slot for me personally, if you like this type of slot, you are going to love this one for sure!

did the tournament balance 700 spins with the extra bet and 300 with out it, got 4 or 5 bonuses with the extra bet and 0 with out it, best one payed like 50x.
tested out all the feature buys with demo money and managed get the max win on 2nd super bonus buy so there is a potential on this one!
thunder surge feature buy was ok, pretty fun. did like 20 of em and they payed anything from 0x to 10x buy amount
regular bonus was bit under underwhelming, felt bit too hard to hit anything above the 100x buy amount
i liked the extra features on the multi bar, the extra wilds and the skip to the higher multi.
you kinda need to play this one with the extra bet on, 1,5x stake is ok for it, anything higher would be too much.

why i dont like this type of slots? because they feel bit too rigged/scripted and there is allrdy many very similar ones. way too many times i had great multi and +3 wilds on the board and it misses everything and so on. also if you get great early multis on the bonus, you just know it gonna go dead spin city. also on the super bonus the big block is allways 1 2x2

Tiki Thunder surprised me more than I expected. I am usually into classic cluster slots, but this one mixes things up nicely with its avalanche multipliers and those occasional chunky 2x2 or even 3x3 blocks. The multiplier ladder is definitely the star of the show – once it starts climbing, every cascade feels like it could be the big one.

I played Tiki Thunder and hit a nice win that really got my adrenaline going. This 5×5 cluster pays slot with ~96% RTP and up to 40,000x max win is pure high-risk, high-reward fun.

The base game’s avalanches with +2x multipliers per cascade make every chain exciting, but the real thrill is in Free Spins, where multipliers carry over, Super Mode giant symbols, Gold Mask wilds, and Thunder Surge boosts can turn a single bonus into a huge payout.

Even from that session, it’s clear that Tiki Thunder is a true bonus-hunter slot, brutal when it’s cold but explosive when it hits — I can’t wait to spin again for even bigger wins.

9/10 Tiki Thunder
In my opinion, After spending some time playing Tiki Thunder, I can honestly say it’s a very enjoyable freeplay slot. The first thing that stands out is the theme. The tiki masks, lightning effects, and tropical atmosphere are well designed and give the game a strong personality. The colors are vibrant without being overwhelming, and the animations feel smooth and polished, especially when you land nice combos or trigger special features.
In terms of gameplay, it’s easy to understand, which makes it great for both casual players and those who like to focus on scoring higher on the leaderboard. Even though it’s a freeplay tournament, the game still manages to create tension and excitement. Chasing scatters, watching the multipliers build up, and deciding when to use the fast track feature keeps every session interesting and prevents it from feeling repetitive. The fast track option is a nice addition because it allows you to speed up the game and stay focused on improving your score instead of waiting through too many standard spins. It makes the whole experience feel more dynamic and competitive, especially during a tournament where every point matters. Overall, Tiki Thunder is a solid and entertaining slot with a clear theme, smooth performance, and engaging mechanics.

tiki thunder is a great addition to the "double max" games.
every small hit is a joy since it doubles the overall multi. it gets real exciting when the gold masks start popping up. the lava multis are a nice addition too!
all in all its packed with features and a lot is going on all the time.
a very enjoyable experience overall. will for sure play this every now and then.
one of the better recent slotmill releases for sure!

Review:

Mechanics: Cluster Pays with a multiplier that doubles with every spin, which I generally like. So always have the chance to win big in the base game as well, thats always a plus.
In the bonus game, it's always very exciting to see whether the giant symbol will appear, which you usually need to hit. Unfortunately, this is often very predictable, and even if the smallest giant symbol appears, you still need another Symbol to hit at all.
The excitement of the slot comes from when you're high with the multiplier and then have to hit it to win big. Very, very often tilting.

The Gold Mask Feature is a very good thing as well. Up to three wilds then appear, naturally making the probability of hitting much higher.

The Lava Multiplier is perfect to get into the next Multiplier Stage.

Of course, you always hope that you will find some of the two features in the multiplier board.

The Super Free Spins: 1000x for a buy is to high for me. In my opinion, the Gamble Feature (Bonus Buy) is fair, and I have used it often, which has also led to Super Free Spins. With an RTP of 96.43%, it is similar to the slot RTP.

With the 12 free spins, if you're not very unlucky, you often get to at least the 1024x stage, in my experience.
A retrigger would be crazy here, but unfortunately, there isn't one.

To really win big, you also need these big multipliers, as you rarely hit large “clusters” that are also good.

Super, yes, super free spins. I miss a little variety. It's actually completely the same, except that you always get the Giant symbol with every spin.

Sound/Graphics:
Very typical of Tiki. Cool drum sounds and graphics featuring the “familiar faces.” Definitely not annoying sounds, as is often the case with many slots.

The Burst feature in Slotmill Slots i do like - a good way if u dont have so much time to spin. Yes, of course you have to be careful, but we all know that. Sometimes money disappears faster than you can blink. Gamble responsible

The highlight of the slot is definitely the 40,000x max win, which you don't see in too many slots. I think that's really cool and it definitely makes you want to play the slot more and more.

My final conclusion about this slot is that it ranks in the top third due to the max win and the excitement of the multipliers. For my taste, they could have included even more random features. Somehow, I don't see much that's new here. That's a shame, but often it's also due to the large number of releases. Its a 7/10

Slotmill brings the thunder ⚡ with a tiki-themed multiplier game.

Contrary to the saying that lightning never strikes twice, in Tiki Thunder, lightning can and does strike twice (or more!); lightning can strike a number of times in a single spin, summoning larger tikis which create winning opportunities out of what would've been a dead or finished spin. I've never been so happy to see a huge tiki face on my slot reels, or to hear thunder.

Each tiki has a distinct color and facial expression, and you're treated to some more personality in the big win screens (big win combos transition seamlessly into the big win screen. Very nice, more slots need to do this). My favorite is red tiki, he looks like a happy schemer, but you can't go wrong with gold tiki -- he's wild!

Tiki Thunder being a multiplier climber leans more towards suspenseful buildup than sudden wins, but the latter does happen on occasion.
Suspenseful buildup consists of the classic cascading/avalanche slot mechanic plus a multiplier climb that's been reimagined with a few mechanics such as:
  • Gold mask adds wilds at random (yes, please)
  • Lava multi jumps over a multiplier stage (also yes, please)
Too many slots with a global multiplier climb add NOTHING to spice it up, but not Tiki Thunder; these tikis ain't having that.

Sudden wins can come thanks to Thunder Surge, which skips over a random number of multiplier stages at the beginning of your spin: for example I jumped straight to x64 immediately and got an ultra win in just one tumble (thanks to triggering a giant tiki).

Usually, I think of cascading slots with this grid size to be a bit restrictive and prefer larger game areas, but Tiki Thunder can get away with it because of some of it's handy, synergistic mechanics (wild symbol spawn with each combo, giant tiki chance), and trust me they work really well together.

I've played several tiki-themed slots and this one is easily the best (partly because this game is good and partly because the others were... not good). I strongly recommend Tiki Thunder

...unless you only like super fast games (maybe try Burst mode).

A bit slow but I can see the potential even from the base game.Wild feature in bonus can be juice.Especially when u are further on multiplier ladder.30x Thunder spins are volatile as hell.Didn,t get bonus in 300 spins with extra bet.But got some decent basegame hit.I hit the super bonus gamble buy.Twice in a row with super mode.Which was fun to watch.40000x max win looks pretty acheiveable with the setup on super bonus.personal rating. (8/10).🙂

SlotReview: Tiki Thunder by Slotmill

1.Graphics and Sounds (9,5/10)

Slotmill's graphics team demonstrates once again the player's wishes for strong colors and big symbols, in this case the colourful Tiki masks. Tiki Thunder features the most distinct masks animation in the slots game, even better than its comparison slot Tiki Tumble by PushGaming. The jungle themed music fits well to the TIKI masks and the background volcano during the bonus spins.

What impressed me are those extra details, like the Golden Wilds wheel which zaps like a lightning the wilds into the spaces and the volcano scatters which blow out lava. That attention to detail makes those new Slotmills unique and gains a huge number of fans over time.

Slotmill's graphics and sounds once again deliver a strong 9,5/10 rating due to the understanding of their main slot audience who appreciates all the extra details in the slot presentation.

2.Game Mechanics (8,5/10)

The game mechanics clearly comes from the family of similar Slotmills like Ragnarok and Emberfall but adds some extra features, most notably the Golden Wilds wheel and the possibility of jumping over multiplier steps.

Because the multipliers are displayed horinzontally instead of vertically, players notice quicker the higher possible multipliers which makes it more exciting and is a great way to use that extra display space to build up suspense.

Seeinga huge multipliers for the chance of a big win is enticing, however the low payouts for the base hits make it a necessity to first reach these huge multipliers, which can be frustrating for the player in thebeginning.

Still, compared to Emberfall and Ragnarok, I did have several cascading decent hits and wasn't having those extremely long dry spells. It might be that the mathematical payouts support a few more base game wins which is nice for the casual player and clearly supports a 8,5/10rating.

3.Base Game and Bonus Rounds (9/10)

In the base game Tiki Thunder clearly shows to be a high-volatility slot. The base game pay during my play offered just a few significant returns, with several bonus trigger teasers.

The"Super Bonus" feature appears to be extremely worthwhile compared to the common bonus. All those extra spins really pay off in the end and give the player several spins of massive chances. Also the excitement of always having a chance for a big symbol to appear after a „dead“ spin is greater than in past similar slots, because the frequency of it happening is objectively higher than in the past. This again proves to me a better „slot math“ behind it. It is more believable now to win huge!

Tiki Thunder clearly is focused on the potential for massive, but highly unlikely payouts. The golden wilds wheel and the chance to skip a multiplier step are nice additions to the bonus round, therefore a 9/10 is warranted.

Final verdict:

Tiki Thunder is a great addition to Slomill's product portfolio and will find a number of fans quickly due to its distinct graphics which is attractive to many regular slot players who enjoy that energetic atmosphere while playing. This slot is aimed at high-stakes players who regularly play multiplier slots like Emberfall and Ragnarok but want to change it up for a more colorful fun slot which Tiki Thunder provides with its theme, graphics and the Golden Wilds feature wheel.

I would expect Tiki Thunder to become popular, so that there will be a Tiki Thunder 2 in the future.

My overall rating: 9/10

My pov:

I do have to say i love slotmill games in general, mainly cause of the different options to buy bonuses and other goods.

If it comes to Tiki Thunder, i love the game because it has an additional twist and those are the wilds that can spawn next to the next multiplier.

This makes this game really different then other games that simply multiplies the multiplier.

Love the fact that we can get 1 up to 3 wilds and if there is no hit, next spin again?! Yessir sign me up!

Deff will play this game more often, super fun!

Goodjob Slotmills and thanks Casinogrounds for letting us play this game.

my thoughts: I did like slow drum background music, I did like color choice of moving heads. I did not get many bonus runs - and when I did get them - they were pretty bad, like 130coins max - I did like 8 from all runs. I was playing with extra-bet. For me it was chill and calm, will try real money - but not more than 50 Euro. Not really for grinding this slot - but its subjective

40kx max win from Slotmill? Unexpected but hell year, I'll take it.

I'll split my review into three parts:

What I like:
-Random clusters that can trigger anywhere, anytime. Nice.
-Normal bonuses - Normally, when there is a super bonus, normal ones are boring, feels underwhelmed. I had a few nice hits, and in the 128x zone and above, anything can happen.
-Overall game feeling. I'm not into slot designs and music reviews, but in this game, I can feel it. It has nice background effects when I play it.
-Progressive multiply Bar, I'm really into that kind of game, Barbarossa is one of my favourite all time game, and I'll add Tiki to my favourite list.

What I don't like:
-Super bonus cost - I'll keep it around 500x max, I don't think there are a lot of people that buys bonus buys over +-1000x bet.
-5 Scatter bonus - 4 bonus spins could be dead spins, it's nothing exciting at all.
-Red symbol payout is below Purple? Missled myself a few times.
-Big clusters removing wilds.

What could I add in the sequel?
-Extra spin? That's some twist from the unusual slotmill mechanics. Buy extra spins for some amount of money won
-More aggressive x-bet bonus hunt option - that would give more chance to trigger super bonus.
-Progressive bonus from base game option. If you grinded 8x, you're starting from 8x.
-Tiki wrath - Changing the premium symbol to another colour.

I'm not into bringing a wall of text as feedback, so I've kept it simple and clear, and maybe Slotmill will listen to my suggestions. Overall solid 8.08/10.00

I think real challenge in todays slot world is to create a game that will appeal to as many people as possible. Some game providers try to dabble with different themes, other loves using the same motive, we have a lot of new mechanics or games with huge potential. Slot Mill is trying to hit that sweet spot and I think they are doing pretty good job with this release.

I've tried CG tournament with features and normal spins. As for game with pretty high variance, it's actually very cool, that normal gameplay still pays decent and there is something happening all the time - you aren't left with 36 dead spins. Different multipliers and smaller random surge is pretty cool. You can play a little, try to hit that big win or wait for a bonus. Or just use that Burst mode!

Fast Track options are great for people, who just want to enter the game, try bonus or feature and just check overall vibe on that level.

What I personally like about SlotMill releases are accessible informations everywhere. You enter the game, you see potential and RTP. You move mouse over bonuses and features - everything is explained, numbers are there. You don't have to read "help" file to access informations. Great!

I'm big fan of games cartoonish style (is that a right word?) of all of SlotMill releases (those fantastic covers!). I know they are proud for making games that are very light, great for mobile play so I wonder what is the magic here - because that game looks good! Maybe it's about lack of graphics fireworks and animations? But hey, that seems to be working pretty well.

I think Tiki Thunder is also a game that is very easy to follow (which doesn't seem to be a thing with some new games). You can actually understand what is happening on the screen. That is important for people that are more into oldschool casino games.

SlotMill motto is "The player experience is everything". And I feel they are doing good job with Tiki Thunder. There is still very high max win for people searching that thrill. You can just put 100 spins on autoplay with mid speed and just patiently enjoy the game. You can easily run few spins on your mobile and you won't waste a lot of internet on this. There are several modes for people that prefer crazier features and higher volatility. You have clear informations and there aren't 67 game modes so you won't be lost.

So will this game appeal to wide audience? There is definitely chance for that. Smooth gameplay, few very nice features, good graphics, solid music. Overally - good addition to their portfolio. I wish you all at least one Super Mode Free Spins

10/10
I didn’t have huge expectations when I first tried Tiki Thunder, but after spending some time with it, I can honestly say it’s one of those slots that slowly grows on you. From the first few spins, it already feels polished and well thought out. The tiki theme is colorful without being loud, the animations are smooth, and nothing feels rushed or overdone. The background music is subtle, but it does a good job setting the mood, especially during longer spin sessions.

What stood out to me pretty quickly is the rhythm of the game. It doesn’t feel brutal, but it also doesn’t hand out wins for free. Small hits come in often enough to keep the balance alive, which makes the session feel steady rather than stressful. You’re not constantly watching your balance drop with nothing in return, and that alone makes it more enjoyable than many modern slots.

The base game is actually fun to play. Even without triggering features, there are enough moments where you feel close to something happening. Teases feel natural instead of annoying, and when you do land a decent hit, it feels earned. I’d describe the volatility as somewhere in the medium to high range, but delivered in a smooth way that doesn’t feel punishing.

When free spins finally trigger, the game really starts to shine. This is where Tiki Thunder shows its personality. The multipliers add real tension to every spin, and even though not every round pays, the potential is clearly there. One good spin during the feature can easily make up for a long stretch of regular gameplay. It feels rewarding in a genuine way, not just flashy animations with average results.

I also appreciate that the game doesn’t mess with your emotions too much. There are dry moments, sure, but they feel fair. Wins don’t come out of nowhere, and losses don’t feel forced. When something big hits, it feels like the result of patience rather than luck flipping a switch.
The Fast Track feature buy is a nice option for players who prefer jumping straight into the action, but what I really like is that it’s not required to enjoy the game. Tiki Thunder still feels perfectly playable without buying features, which says a lot about how balanced the design is.
After a longer session, my overall impression is very positive. This is not a slot that tries to scream about massive RTP or nonstop wins. Instead, it focuses on being enjoyable, fair, and consistent. It’s the kind of game you can play for a while without getting tired or frustrated, and that’s something I value more and more these days.

In short, Tiki Thunder feels like a slot made by people who actually play slots. It’s relaxed, engaging, and occasionally capable of delivering big moments without feeling artificial. Definitely one I’d recommend to anyone looking for a solid, well balanced game they can enjoy at their own pace.
