Review:

I personally think the slot theme is great alongside the soundtrack being what I would imagine from just looking at the game (except for the super bonus got me off guard funny though) and the bonus is really good with the multis especially since you can go from 50x multi in the super to 400x in one spin, the potential is insane and I like the volatility. This would land it a 7/10 however the skeleton I assume is named Ribs makes it a easy 10/10 as far as I am aware there aren't any or many slots that have active voice acting like this and its very cheeky and hilarious. Good job slotmill!
 
Ribs Golden Crypt is Slotmills new Halloween themed avalanche cluster pays slot.
It offers a max win of 10 000x with a 96.01% RTP.

To someone familiar with Slotmill slots, this release will remind Ultra Fruit Smash,
using same Giant Symbols, similar multiplier system, with a different looks.
And has a lot more volatile feeling.

The Fast lane offers you the opportunity to buy a spin with guaranteed Giant Symbol,
a Bonus, a Super mode bonus and a 50-50 gamble to get the Super mode bonus.
it does have 0.5x extrabet that increases the chances of landing a bonus game by 2.1 times.

Gameplay is smooth and can become exiting real quick thanks to rapidly ramping up the multiplier
by landing a flat multiplier next to a Giant Symbol or landing the Meteor multiplier symbol that
multiplies the existing mutliplier in the same tumble.
In the Super Mode Bonus, the multiplier will not reset throughout the bonus.

Since i really like Ultra fruit smash, i like this even more, cause it does feel more volatile,
and the multiplier can get very big very fast.
Base game feels nice and smooth and it does not feel that hard do bonus without an X-tra bet,
so i think using X-Tra bet is not even necessary in this slot. I will keep trying both and then decide, how i prefer to play this.

I would like to have a super bonus hunt bet, and/or have the superbonus scatter, instead of super bonus being randomly
given after landing the bonus

Ribs Golden Crypt is honestly one of those slots that caught me off guard in a really good way. The Halloween theme immediately caught my attention, but after playing it, it was the gameplay that really made this one stand out for me.

The gameplay feels smooth, but things can escalate incredibly quickly. I really like the Giant Symbols and how they work together with the multiplier mechanics. When you start hitting multipliers next to a Giant Symbol, or the Meteor multiplier comes into play, a normal tumble can suddenly turn into something much bigger. The volatility gives the game that exciting feeling that the next spin could really go crazy.

The bonus is another big highlight for me, especially the Super Mode. Having the multiplier continue building throughout the feature makes every tumble feel important. Once that multiplier starts getting high, the excitement really kicks in.

And of course, Ribs himself deserves a mention 😂. The voice acting gives the game a lot of personality, and some of his comments genuinely made me laugh. It is a small detail, but it makes the game feel much more memorable than your average Halloween slot.

I also really like that the base game is enjoyable on its own. You don't feel like you have to rely on the extra bet just to make the game interesting, which is a big plus for me.

Overall, Slotmill did a great job with this one. Great atmosphere, fun mechanics, plenty of volatility and some serious multiplier potential. Most importantly, it is simply fun to play, and that's what matters most to me.

9/10 – definitely one I'll be coming back to.

It is a pretty fun slot, but it definitely has it's moments. First off, big props to the design / Slot Mill team it is a very cool designed game. The character, Ribs the armored skeleton hanging out next to the grid adds a bit of coolness and creativity. The voice acting is also pretty awesome and funny. It is set inside a gold treasure room, and the whole animation , music feels really cool and snappy and sticks to the whole theme of the slot. Fun animations, and it runs really well on a phone, there is no lag at all. Very smooth game and game play.

When your playing it is a cluster pays game with avalanches. Symbols pop, new ones drop in, and you hope for a nice chain reaction. What makes it awesome are the purple multiplier and giant symbols during the gameplay. There were a couple of times when a spin looked totally dead, and then a couple of multipliers hit the board, cascaded together, and turned a 10 cent win into $50. When the multiplier gets up into the 40 x range it definitely is cool and makes things more interesting.

Hitting the bonus round changes everything completely and drops you right into the throne room free spins. It is a little difficult to get the free games but the free spins is where the real volatility kicks in. You’ll definitely have stretches where it feels like you're just eating small, dead-end clusters while waiting for the game to throw you a bone. Chasing those keys can test your patience tho as it takes a while to get the free games I did feel.

The bonus buy is a good add and I do like to 50/50 options as well for getting the super bonus.

So yeah overall a very fun slot from Slot Mill. I do really enjoy and look forward to their new releases. I have been playing there games quite a bit. I love the graphics, characters, music and voice overs. So overall an awesome slot. I cannot wait to try it when it goes live on the casinos. Ribs Golden Crypt is a halloween themed slot, but rather than it beind very dark and spooky, it's more of a silly and fun take on a halloween theme.
But do not let the silliness fool you, the wins are very serious.

Instead of doing just a reskin of an existing slot, it takes inspiration from their older game, increasing volatility and improving on the mechanics.

I really like the fact that it has a humble 10 000x max win. With the high volatility the maxwin feels very achievable, rather than having a gigantic maxwin that 1 in a 20 million will ever win.

Gigantic symbols that carry multi up to 10x and the multiplier meteor that can get up to 100x, are the reasons for the high volatility.

Multiplier can become astronomical within a 1 spin span.

In a bonus the persistant multiplier carries over from start to finish. And since there are no ways to get extra spins inside the bonus, every extra key landed on a bonus trigger holds that much extra value.

Same In a super mode bonus, but in addition a Giant symbol is guaranteed each spin.

I would like a feature buy, instead of Giant symbol a guaranteed 100x + multiplier. Obviously it would be expensive, but with the volatility it makes sense.

In conclusion, Slotmill lived up to it's own standards in terms of smooth gameplay, great graphics, big multipliers and a very VERY good bonus round.

Thanks for the promo, but this game was way too hard to hit anything at all. 1,000 spins and only 1 bonus, although the slot itself was fun. I’ve also tried playing with real money, and it barely pays out anything, so the RTP here must be around 75% :P

What I like:

  • The little monsters and the golden skeleton king give the game some personality.

  • The Giant Symbols and multipliers can work together to create some exciting moments.
  • The Multiplier Meteors add another element to watch for during a spin.
  • I like the idea of the Super Mode, especially the guaranteed Giant Symbol on every spin.
  • The multiplier carrying over throughout the bonus makes the feature more interesting.

I think keeping the review prizes down to something like 25 eur or 50 eur each would be better so people don't feel forced to use AI to cheat.. this way things are kept casual and honest. it's very possible that there has been some AI generated or hybrid AI review that got awarded a prize in these Slotmill contests. so if they get at most 25 or 50 then fine , but if they are getting 200 or 250 then that's not fine.
 
one member wrote a review for Dark Forge and in one of the sections in his review he called the slot "Demon's Gate".... and yet he still gets awarded the best review prize....

I like how it has the Halloween theme it is core original and fun also I like the soundtrack of it addicting and how the skeleton guy encourages the slot to pay more lol with that sleek comment hypes you up to tag along and say pay up and add more multiplier. really it’s nice and amazing also the pay table is great and consistent multiplier is great and anticipating also I like the funny jokes and comments he gives off solid 8.7/10 differently a great game to hype up that Halloween spirit and get you excited

That being said I do laugh at the concept of a user called dickslapperman having to be paid their prize(on multiple forums) by the payment team.
 
RIBS GOLDEN CRYPT

My first impression of the new SM game was fantastic.

I am a big fan of cluster games and i love multis, no need to say more right?
I love how freaking big the mulits can get with the meteors. I´ve never seen the 100x multi but even
with a 2x here and there the multi gets past 100 pretty fast. Thats the main mechanic rib built his crypt around.
But now lets look at the core parts of the game in detail.

PRESENTATION

Its a bright and also kinda funny cemetery art style centered around our new friend Rib and the surroundings.
Very unusual for such a dark setting but it works very well.
His voice is great and the different ways he celebrates during big wins are awesome.
The only downside is the one part where he either kicks his ghost friend or the ghost seems do run away from Rib :(

I usually turn the music off the moment i start a game but not here. The music fits into the game so nice, especially in free spins
that i just cant get myself to turn it off.
The crypt shining in bright green and going down there when you land a bonus looks fantastic.

GAMEPLAY

SM once again uses a 6x6 grid as the main mechanic of the game. Atleast 5 symbols needs to connect to get a win.
The multipliers are what players will look for the most. They come in giant symbols and in meteors. The meteors mulitply
the collected multisum which makes them much bigger more often and more reliable.
I love this way of growing multis much more than in the previous games.

There is a single feature bet for giant symbols in the base game which is totally fine.


BONUS FEATURES

As usual we have a normal and a super bonus. A 50/50 gamble for the superbonus (this can be quite brutal) and an extra bet for bonus hunting.

The features start with 8,10, or 12 spins, depending on the amount of scatters that triggered it. Sadly there is no way of getting additonal spins during a feature.
The multi does not reset during the free spin round, so this is where the mega wins will land.

Lots of people will wonder where the super scatter is... its not in this game and thats what i love most.
The feature can randomly turn into a super feature so every time a feature is triggered you have hopes for a super one.

Since i am not a bonus buyer i had just a few features yet and no luck with the super but the excitement is real :). VERY WELL DONE!
The guaranteed giant symbols in the super will surely have their impact on the global multi.

Getting the fantastic setup to unleash the full power of the game is hard but features are not hard to trigger with extra bet so its well balanced imo.


IMPROVEMENTS

  1. I never had a giant symbol that was a wild. So maybe its possible but if its not this would be a great addition.
  2. Staying with wilds... when we have 2 or more connections at the same time the game should generate more wilds imo.
  3. The game is lacking a random basegame feature. A shower of wilds or a shower of wilds and multis combinded could generate some more tension in the basegame.
  4. And i am sure i am not the only one who would love a way to get more spins during a feature.

CONCLUSIO 8,5/10

A fantastic game thats a lot of fun and has great potential but doesnt eat ones balance to fast.
I´m sure a lot of people will chose this as their halloween game this year since the gameplay and music work so well together.

Funny how I’m the one getting accused of using AI when I’m literally the only person who bothered to write an actual pros-and-cons list instead of another generic paragraph. 😂 I even included specific things I liked, things I disliked, and what could be improved.

Maybe take a look at your own review before accusing others. Your wording and the structure are pretty much the same as everyone else’s, including the kind of reviews that all end with almost identical phrases.

At least I tried a different approach instead of copying the same review style everyone else is using. Disagree with my opinion all you want, but accusing me of using AI just because you don’t like how I wrote my review is a bit rich. 🤷
 
This has to be my favourite Slotmill slot that has come out after Dead Mans Drop. They have managed to land just in the sweetspot of the volatility.
I like that it's not wasting its RTP on overloading the basegame with 50x wins and rather keeps the RTP for the bonusrounds, which ultimately i play the slots for. I don't go to a slo hoping to get a couple of 50x base wins. Ofc it does have potential for a basegame hits, but it is much rarer sight than in Shadow of Dominion for example.



Multiplier meteor is where it's at. That's what we look for in this slot nothing better in gambling than multiplicative multipliers. Giant symbols are nice, but not my favourite features in a slot.
I apreciate that there are no fake retriggers in the bonuses. Thanks to this, this game feels less deadspinny.


Artistically this slot looks and sounds great. In future slots i encourage you to add even more silliness to the easter eggs. Seeing people behind the slots having fun with it puts a smile on my face and makes me have fun time too.


Okay, my review has been all over the place. Let's wrap this up. Slot looks great, did a good amount of spins and bonus rounds (~ 15 000 spins) saw no clitches nor bugs. Averaged 2 bonuses per 100 spins, so not too shabby. Bonuses are fun and exiting, especially Super mode. Super mode does act like a lucky boost in a CG collaboration slots, in a sense that it's s being revealed after the trigger, i have not made my mind up about it just yet, can't say if i like it or hate it.

Thanks for the promo and sorry for the person who has to read this all over the place review, lol.
