does esports betting the same as sports do?

I'm a hardcore dota2 player myself, but haven't betted on any matches except with skins on some sites. But I don't see any problem in that, if you are into the game and want to bet on some games

I play Dota 2 too, not very hard core but it's good fun indeed. Haven't been betting on it, but I do know that @LetsGiveItASpin has some experience from it. I'm sure he'll reply any moment.  ^_^

I play dota as well and bet frequently on games  As you might have more information than the sports betting companies it could be very profitable, just remember that the spread is bigger. What's your mmr?

my mmr is just 3k. im a scrub. not a hardcore player. but i always watch pro dota because its enjoyable, but not right now, the meta is too boring. Dota2's patch is on the 1st. I'm so excited.
