guys most of you will know me as PaulD-Action_For-Better-Gambling-Practices but after last night stream i am done

i simply cant win why coz i have the lost support of the very people who asked me to start this group and when i report back to them in this week stream and make it clear that some not all but some of the streamers are working with me to bring in new practices and make gambling a safer environment for all i am slammed for not giving the streamers hell well i have a morale compass i wont slam people who work with me to bring about change i did slam casino daddy i still think that they are the worse and give all streamers a bad rep and i know rev share whilst its here wont look good in anyone's eyes and i brought that to the attention of many but i am not here to make enemies.  So to this end i am out of this good luck all all the best PaulD

Paul,

You can't please all of the people all of the time. You are going to have extreme views on either side.

The majority of genuine streamers do care as you found out yourself. They do want to engage, make reasonable adjustments etc. because at the end of the day I am a firm believer that none of them prey on the problem gambler let alone want that problem gambler to sign up through their affiliate link.

You approached the issue in the right manner and let's be honest here, you had some results as some adjustments have been made.

Please remember that casinos are responsible for the actions of the affiliate (well at least in the UK they are) and despite those affiliates bringing in custom they will drop the bad apples quick enough if the regulators are on their case.

A genuine affiliate will adjust to the ever changing regulations, else they will find their affiliate account locked.

What an odd and short lived episode.  If your raison d'être is really about making gambling safer (whatever that means) then as slotplayer correctly points out, hassling streamers or affiliates is not the way to go about it because neither of those provide gambling services.

I can't help feeling this whole thing was motivated by jealously towards people making affiliate money.

I really dont get the point of this thread or the previous one tbh. We all ( I think) bet at the level we are comfortable with, including streamers.
