Crypto sites

Me personally I think the UKGC should mind there own business, I do not play on crypto sites myself, however isn't the whole purpose of crypto designed to get away from Governments, banking controls and regulations because they can't be trusted? 

With that in mind, it would maybe be a good idea to somehow design a gambling casino on the blockchain that is run and validated by the people for the people, because were all sick of being ripped off by all parties, it's the people who know what they need and want, we need to push out these billion dollar industries and Government back handed criminals from targeting the poor, because it is us who design and create, it's our ideas and it is our money. They are all like sitting vultures waiting for the next idea they can pounce on. Vultures the lot of em...

 
Actually the more I think about it the more angry I get, the fact of all these big corporations taking our bread. Governrments make money Providers make money, casinos make money, UKGC makes money, streamers even make money and the normal punter is the only ones who LOSE MONEY 

WE don't need any of them, all we need is  the people and a project. Project GLASSHOUSE because we can see right through it...

 
@karlosthegr3at I actually don't even know what the UKGC regulate, there main focus seems to money laundering that is all I ever see them interested in and now all of a sudden because the suicide rates have spiked and complaints have been made they are trying to look active towards the average Joe all of a sudden by putting on more restrictions in the UK, not getting the fact that the casinos make us suffer even more for it.

One major point i agree with you is the lack of bonus offers nowadays - the last deposit bonus offers i received had crept up to stupid 40x wagering levels but i haven't even received those in probably a year now - i literally get no bonus offers anymore, although i think the fact casinos are scared of getting rinsed by matched betting players is the main reason for that tbh.

I do also agree loyalty bonuses have disappeared too and the fcuking cheap ass 5 free min spins you get once a week or whatever are just gash.

I've actually got a dumb ass issue with William Hill atm where i'm banned from all promotions for an indefinite period whenever i spend abit more than usual - yet the greedy beggars haven't put any deposit/withdrawal limits on me, just banned me from promos & freebies lol! This is 2nd time they done it to me and i actually said to their livechat that i thought spending more would earn me better rewards, and they told me banning me from rewards was for my own good but I'm fine to deposit still!

William Hill are such dicks, but this is also the reason why crypto casinos are so popular - I've never used one, but quite a few I've seen do offer very decent reward programs and most are paying out free cash/crypto rather than just shitty free spins.

There was even 1 crypto casino i saw which had an awesome rewards system whereby every £10 or whatever you spent earned you site tokens that you could either swap out straight for cash or you could stake them on site and then be eligible for a dividend payout every week based on the casinos revenue - even if you never played again, your tokens stayed on site and you could log in & collect dividend every week. it was genuinely a really fair, honest & worthwhile reward system - i was well impressed with it, and high volume players would especially benefit from it.

Traditional casinos could learn a few things from the new crypto casinos tbh, and the fact traditional casinos are offering fcuk all value is a big reason why crypto casinos have exploded - crypto casinos often offer better RTPs, better sports odds and better rewards, so i don't blame people choosing them tbh.

And to answer original point, the only good thing regulation may bring is that there may be abit more accountability for poor casino admin decisions, though as others have said UKGC isn't always about the players anyway.

IMO As time passes and more and more jump to the crypto casino wagon the more the UK government will want it regulated so they can tax the casinos and track the player and use the lame excuse they're looking out for the player by having it fairly regulated. 

Seems to be a bit of a debate going on meanwhile:

@dagreeblazer they stopped those bonuses and started giving them to streamers only, them took them off streamers, I am not sure if they gave them back to streamers tho..!

That is strange about William Hill banning you from promos, you have probs won on them more than they like, casinos do not like you winning nothing, no matter how much you spend, myself personally I have been member with William Hill for over 10 years and never had a problem with them, I find them fair and do not think they do anything backhanded like some of them. I have a big problem with Videoslots, the stuff I could go into about that site, they should be shut down, they changed up with new rules in Feb 2021 but never told the players what they were doing, worst casino ever and is streamer focused, the need to be properly investigated, they are not the same Videoslots as started out, so please be careful with them. 

Funny thing is no-one is about the players no more, funny thing is though the way they are carrying on, they are going to end up having to pay out more than they take in because of unethical reasons and most will be shut down, and it is because of there own greed. 

As for Crypto casinos yes there is a need for them because they have higher RTPS, because they are not paying so many licence fees fines taxes etc and don't have huge outstanding fines from bad practice, sad thing is though crypto is banned in UK, even though you can use VPN for access, I have heard you can run into issues with verification when it comes to big withdrawals that is only reason for me not playing on crypto casinos

@original Jase ye that looks about right, the UKGC want to get there mits right on those Crypto Casinos so that they can TAX them and make out it in the players interest lol, look what they done with the Lottery....It used to be live streamed on TV so the people could actually see it live, that didn't last long either. 

 
In Poland online casinos are banned, so the only option for those who want to gamble online are crypto casinos unless you use VPN but its risky as we know.

There are more but not sure which countries. 

Poland introduced this good few years back, and not only banned real money casinos but any type of options for people to play for fun. There used to be one playform were for years I played online casino games for fun, bo real money. Poker, slots, bj, and they banned that too. 

Even more. No casinos can be visible to people, buildings where you can gamble cannot have any signs, banners, ads etc on them.

Sad. People will just use VPNs and It wouldn't surprise me if we end up like Poland when the government realise they can't make money from regulated sites anymore. I'm glad I gave up most ways to gamble now. Just football bets will do me

@Me uTube What was the fine for? What I am really concerned about is the way the UKGC are clamping down on mostly betting that uses RGNs as sports betting doesn't use them and they seem to be ok with sports betting. I just hope that they are keeping things from us because if I find out they are I will be taking legal action against them also
