Personally not a fan of this slot. This competition will be a pass from me. Played it a decent bit prior to the promotion. Its the only pop game on my ban list.

I had a lot of bonuses starting with x4 and 6k ways and they almost always just die after the full expansion, 3 dead spins and paid something like 200x. There was one where i gambled all the way, first spin into the bonus it fully expanded with 200x, i thought it had potential and it just died. I prefer a fixed spins style like cherry pop or other pop games.

As usual I dislike the gamble feature for bonuses. The theme is alright using more uncommon fruits, was surprised to see the durian being used. Loved the fruit symbols.

The game design is quite stunning and like the other 'Pop-games' it does flow extremely well.
It released with a max win potential of 10.542x, which is lower as it's predecessors.

Don't really know what the reason was to drop from 30-55.000x potential to 'only' 10.000x.
Maybe they wanted to make the series a bit more accessible overall, since the volatility is quite extreme.

Game still got a bonusbuy option, which can get dirty pretty darn fast.
It seems the max potential is much easier to hit in 1 gamble though, so not much reason to gamble twice.

Overall a nice, fast paced megaways game, with decent potential.
The 3 strike out mechanic is the innovative part here, which works pretty good I'd say.

Slot is done well. Why? because its tilting for me. So I dont like it. Its much more tilting than the other pop games because every time you hit something (in bonus game) your free spins reset to 3. So its just very frustrating to see 3 dead spins in a row especially when you build up a high multiplier. Somewhat similar with the middle bonus in iron bank. Another tilt factor is the gamble up front, but that wasn't new. I do however see the great potential in the bonus game , but for me its too volatile. Lost my gambling budget to this game and won't touch it again for a long while. But like i said, well made

I hate slots where you gamble the bonus. C’mon don’t you think they rip us enough!?

350 spins on this game produced 2 bonuses, I gambled the first and lost. I took 5 spins on the second bonus as I had decided I wasn’t playing it again once my money was gone. The music was fine to begin with but after 50 spins it became annoying so I turned it off. The graphics are very sharp and I like the colour selections. 
I won’t play this again for the simple fact of gambling the bonus. I’ll still give it 6/10 though

This always catches my in a rush brain out.

I open the bet values, clock the word "Max" down the bottom - so obviously the min bet value is as far opposite that as possible, so I click whatever is furthest away, then I wonder where my balance went.



I've done this every Pop promotion - one day I should hit the freespins at £40 - which I will of course gamble and lose before realising.

Other then that it is a nice game so I'll hopefully post a decent win eventually - no bonus buys here.

Gamble hasn’t been kind and the 3 dead spins can be super triggering. Cherry Pop can also be rage inducing but I guess Papaya hasn’t gone off it’s teets yet so…

Game feedback for Papaya Pop: I think this is a below average game that I rated 2 stars on the CG slots page:

Graphics & Sounds: both are lovely but I don't quite grasp what exotic fruits have to do with the Art Deco style. 

Gameplay / game mechanics: the Pop mechanism is fine. Here the bonus is combined with '3 strikes is out'.
The reward for reaching maximum column length, increase the win multiplier from step by 1 to step by 2, is quite weak.

In my opinion the big fail for this game obvious and well known: I feel that being able to gamble bought bonuses does not fit responsible gambling.

I feel that if a bonus is bought, the player should get some playtime in order to cool off.

Else hundreds of euros can and will be lost by some players  in just minutes, even on minimum stakes.

A while ago AvatarUX was the only game provider that featured this toxic combination,
recently I have noticed the same on a Stakelogic game (Extreme megaways) and an Yggdrasil game (Raptor Double Max) as well. 

I am concerned that bonus buys are going to be banned everywhere because of lack of self regulation of the industry.

With the bonus buy without the gamble or even without the bonus buy I would rate this game above average to good.
