Casumo - Compliance Issue

This wasn't just Casumo, I noticed it on one site and checked others and they all had error 404, I contacted support plenty of times and was assured it would be directed to the relevant team but it was actually like this, for a long long time, maybe over a month if I am remembering correctly. May have just been the UK market, not sure as I couldn't check from other regions.

See and they try and say its not there fault even though with all evidence it actually is, its worrying that an online casino who is meant to be technical dont know what a 404 error actually is? Its client based and cant be blamed on a user.  It does not matter if it was just the UK market, the company is responsible for all countries and regions they are allowed to work in.  They are especially responsible for Compliance, they got fined last year for failing it and you would think they would have learned by now.  I will make sure I win this and I will make sure they get fined as they are trying to brush it under the carpet

They wouldn't take your winnings away because of this issue, I'm pretty sure it affected all of the UK market for quite some time. Although they have to show the rtp and everything, the link to the page that shows it is external to the actual game client and does not affect the game in any way.

It was a broken link for a long time and no casino used it as an excuse not to pay anyone, if they had, you would have heard about it.

I made a post about it months ago.

I didn't win, I lost money but did not know that it would render all game play as invalid until I spoke to the UK Gambling Commission.  Even though it's an external link as per the RTS Regulations for every Casino it is there responsibility to make sure this information is available otherwise they are failing compliance.  This particular compliance means any player who made any bets during this is due a full refund as all bets are null and void as this compliance was not met

I understand what your complaint is.

I'm just saying that, despite the fact that in a regulatory sense it rendered gameplay null and void, it actually had no affect on any players profit or loss.

No player was refunded there losses and no player was forced to return their winnings.

I don't see any personal victory for you, they might throw you something to make you go away.

Might lead to a fine, all moneys go towards charity.

You might believe that but rules are rules, if the casinos find any little thing they can go stop someone winning the will take it so why would a customer stop any sort of moral victory too? Slot malfunctions are used too much in the industry and this is a malfunction of some sort too but against guidelines. Casinos are more than happy to ban people based on there terms and conditions even for something small. So I am using a regulatory term to fight back

I'm not disputing or disagreeing with anything you say. I know the regulations, I work in the industry. Fair and open gaming code of practise.

I'm not saying you should drop it, by all means persist if you have the inclination to do so.

I'm just saying that it is a situation where there is unlikely to be any personal remuneration based on any UKGC findings, although, the casino might give you some money to drop it. They did with me when I complained about it. This exact issue.

By all means go for it if you feel aggrieved.

And that's why the RTS regulations are there to make it fair on both parts unfortunately the Casino is trying to shy away from what they needed to do and its unacceptable.  Ts and cs are there for a reason but so are regulations.  I wont back down from it but I appreciate your point of view
