About RTP

I have been playing slots on and off for the last 7 years. Today after losing a small fortune,i talked with casino support about RTP.  What he said is that RTP is not linked with your personal account/what so ever. RTP is shared with all the playes playing that particular game. If i lost 1000 euros yesterday, it does not give me any adavantage on the same same slot today. This is news to me. Is this true? I remember total opposite from Kim's videos. I might be wrong.

 
Yep, RTP is what the slot returns to the players over its lifetime (however that is calculated). Each spin is independent, with the reels and symbols simply graphics for a pre-determined win amount which is determined as soon as you press spin. So someone could play a slot for the first time and win the jackpot, whereas someone could play it for years and never win it.

 
The easiest way to think of RTP is with a simple example as flipping the coin. If the RTP is 97%:

You bet 1, if you win, I give you 1.97. If you lose, I keep your 1.

The RTP of a slot from the casino's point of view is what all customers have bet and won on a slot. This total would be a number that is very close to the theoretical RTP. Individual RTPs on a slot can wildly vary as you need a lot of turn-over on a game to get close to the theoretical RTP.

But yes, it's absolutely the case that if you win/lose, it doesn't matter, the spin outcomes will still be random and in no way influenced to any prior wins or losses.
