Thankyou for the kind reply. I was asking for opinions here... i also wanted to point out to people that Ladbrokes will tell lies, rather than be honest about a company decision they made. I will spend the next few years of my life exposing Ladbrokes for what they are. They are not an honest company. They could have told me i couldn't disable games because they took a company decision not to allow customers me to do so, and alarm bells would be ringing, as i already knew about whistleblowers exposing them from Management positions within the Company to let people know how disgusted they were, themselves, with the way in which Ladbrokes as a whole target people with FOBT and fruit machines. A simple search on google will show this.
So, as gambling can be very addictive and is also proven to be related to a mental health disorders, in extreme cases, i feel such a big company like Ladbrokes telling lies to customers, in order to keep them as customers, like they tried with me is totally unacceptable. They should explain to customers, that might not have used any other iPoker sites, unlike me, that all ipoker sites allow side games to be disabled, but Ladbrokes "took the decision not to allow this" - meaning now they know the customer is not happy playing poker 12 hours a day on their site with side games enabled, that they can't allow them to play Poker with them.
This is responsible and what people should expect from a company that preaches so much about how responsible and committed to RG they are. The only reason i tried to get the games disabled, after first being lied to, was because i knew they told me lies by saying it was IMPOSSIBLE to do so. Inf act, the only reason i was playing on their iPoker skin, was because i could walk 10 minutes down the road and lift my winnings out from the local shop, with my Ladbrokes card. Any other ipoker skin, i don't have local bookmakers stores. They all, or most anyways, offer the option to visit in store and withdraw cash... meaning no waiting for it to go into the bank account by debit transfer. They knew this, too.
I returned to Pokerstars to play poker after all this. After Ladbrokes got me banned from Coral and Party poker, just because i made them disable side games. I knew they were telling lies, telling me it was impossible. Why do they feel the need to lie to customers that want side games disabled within the Poker app? The only reason can be, they want to target people that enjoy playing poker with fruit machines, as they have games/live casino and casino on their main page outside of an app i spent 12 hours per day on. They are not happy that i would play a little every now and then on the main site, they wanted me playing fruit machines on my break from playing poker tournaments. That is the only reasonable explaination.... looking me to play the games more than i wanted, as they are there in my face while i wait on my break. I actually enjoy playing them, but i visit the casino or games to do so, as i would find that being logged into poker for 12 to 16 hours per day as a grinder too tempting to gamble more than i would wish to, if i fancy a gamble on them i should be able to choose to do so and log in for as long as i choose. Why force them on the Poker app with no way to disable them, without mentioning on their main page when downloading a POKER APP THEY ADVERTISE THAT THERE WILL BE SIDE GAMES WITH NO WAY TO DISABLE THEM? Thougt i picked Poker download and not games or casino???
I would never return to Ladbrokes if they give me unlimited free spins for life. My reason for court action against them is the fact they got me banned from Coral and Party poker because i was being resposible and they were not. Just because i pointed this out to them, they marked me down as having a gambling problem, when all i wanted to do was safe guard myself from getting one.
Like i said, they only got me banned from PP and Coral with forced self exclusion from themselves, because i actually won the tit for tat with them. I got the side games disabled. Received an email to say they were disabled, logged in to look and like magic, "THE THING THEY SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE BECAME POSSIBLE" So naturally i called them up to tell them i wasn't happy about the fact they told me it was impossible. They said they couldn't explain why i was told this (even though when i phoned last week as a new customer, they are still telling people it is impossible) , so off i went again, made a coffee and returned to play poker with the games now disabled. LOL- WTF IS THIS... Can't log in???? I called them up and was put onto a robot call handler. Sorry Mr Reid, you are self excluded. How is that possible i asked? I didn't ask to be self excluded, i don't have a gambling problem and if i lose, it's what i can afford!!

The scummy Company kept me as a customer for weeks of emails telling them i would rather side games were disabled in the Poker app, telling me it wasn't possible. Then 15 minutes after i proved them wrong, the bitter manager that wasn't happy about what i could do that "she said i couldn't do", took it upon herself to try and get rid of me. She clearly wouldn't want anyone else to request the games be disabled, that is why i can't play poker almost anywhere worth playing," bar Pokerstars, when i get a new passport" she marked me as having a gambling problem even though i can prove otherwise. I can prove they tried to keep me when i said i wasn't happy, they even offered me free spins twice after many requests to get the games disabled, then banned me only because i got them disabled.
THE HEARTBREAK WAS TOO MUCH, THEY COULDN'T OFFER FREE SPINS NOW WITHIN THE POKER APP, SHATTERED LADBROKES WERE- GUTTED ENOUGH TO NOT WANT ME THERE ANYMORE.
You see my issue now? Pokerstars i need to wait on a passport for ID verification until i can play now, as i spent a certain amount and they need the ID (joined 6 years ago and was terrible at poker, lol) I lost my passport a few months ago and still haven't ordered one, which i will soon.
Party poker and Coral- out the window- Ladbrokes got me banned. So, i can't play poker anywhere now online, just because scummy Ladbrokes pushed a forced self exclusion on somebody that wanted to be responible with the way they played fruit machine. They are the ones telling lies and not being responsible, so they will be going to Court for that, as they refuse to admit to Party poker and Coral poker why i got the self exclusion forced on me. Them two companies know i had no preoblem but can't do anything, as with both them side games were disable on their poker app... so it's not like they can believe Ladbrokes. They are sister compaines though, so can't allow me to play, unless Ladbrokes admit what they did one me. They never will and i will have to go to Court. Unless somebody from Ladbrokes sees my post all over forums and decides to admit the truth behind what happened, then i will never return to them and enjoy playing poker with games disabled on Coral and PP again.
i will forever wake people up to the fact Ladbrokes will ,and are actively, try/trying to get players addicted to FOBT / fruit machines by telling these lies and not being responsible like they keep telling people they are on their site and ads on tv.
I would have went back to waiting 5 days for for my winnings to be paid if they were honest and said they made a company decision to refuse poker players the option to disable side games. Just back to Coral or Party poker and wait 5 days for withdrawls .... Instead, here i am writing 10 page essays about how they lie and try to deceive customers, instead of being honest and responsible from day one. Ladbrokes not being responsible got me a forced self exclusion, making me look like i was calling begging them for free spins to play their shitty POKER slots that never pay out. I prefer slots like extra chilli, bonanza and book of dead. The poker app wouldn't have decent slots anyways.
I take nothing away from PP or Coral. They are sister companies with ladbrokes and can't sort my issue with self exclusion out because of Ladbrokes being the greedy site that forced it on me for no good reason. Recommend them two and pokerstars above any poker sites. They won't try and force fruit machines on their Poker players either.
And again BTGKing, thanks for the reply and taking the time to see if pokerstars allow games to be disabled. They all do for anyone interested, except Ladbrokes!!
