The unluckiest guy here. Do RTP really exist?

I have been playing slots on and off for the past 6-7 years, but this is really weird.

I got excited with Bonanza slot. I was playing that game on 3-4 different sites. Sometimes i loose, sometines i win big, but nothing like this. Last month i signed up on a new site and started playing Bonanza mostly. My bet size is 0.60-1. The first time i lost 700 with one bonus game - it paid 9 euros. After a week decided to take another chance (RTP must be over the roof), made deposit. No withdrawal. At this point i have made deposits on that site over 2k in 5 week period. Today made deposits totaling 400 euros. That was gone as well. At least got bonus game that paid 100 o_0.

Everyone talks about RTP. Seems like here it doesnt exist. How is that possible to lose so bad? Not sure what to do now. Do i try to play there again or move to sites where i can win?

What you have had is a bad run. I doubt you've even done more than 10,000 spins. An RTP approximation is calculated by doing millions of spins (I'm fairly certain thats how most providers calculate theoretical RTP). It's entirely possible that you have just not hit any good game rounds. If you think about it when you spin you get a random game round. When you get a really good game round thats being lucky but there are a lot more bad game rounds than good game rounds.

What has happened for you is you just havent had any of the good game rounds. I wouldn't try to chase the loss. If you can gamble responsibly just keep playing but you don't have to play Bonanza if you don't want, you just need to hit one of the good game rounds on any game.

TL:DR - Hit hard by variance, need millions of spins to be close to RTP

MulvenCS, thanks for your opinion. I do think i have made more than 10k spins in total. I would say they are close/more to 20k. This is the question - do i chase the loss? I have had bad runs (Had crazy hits/wins) before, but not like this.

Here is the gamblers dilemma. The only way you can correct this is to chase the win but everyone knows chasing the win is foolish.

If you are intending to go toe to toe with Bonanza then you should dig deep. That machine is a beast and has the ways and means to see you off for another 200k spins let alone 20.

Chasing losses = bad. Chasing losses on bonanza = suicide? :-/

That is the problem with Bonanza (see casinomeister forums, there is a thread almost 200 pages long, mostly from people complaining about the return on the slot)

A lot of players are in the same position, they had a few good wins on it then it dries up,

no matter how hard they chase they end up tilting and losing thousands.

Bonanza is not an honest game, sure it can spit out the occasional 2000X but by in large it will

eat your balance with little return, my advice play another slot...

RTP is calculated from like billions of spins. Pretty sure the guy from NetEnt on @LetsGiveItASpin stream said 15 billion spins. Regarding Bonanza, ive played it at least, last 7 streams now without anything.. This game is really hiy or miss. And you should definitely not chase losses. I would say rather stop playing Bonanza for a while.
