Over 1200 spins between bonuses (The Final Countdown)

After CHASING a bonus in The Final Countdown, it finally hit. I'm somewhere between 1200-1300 spins since my last bonus, and I just think that it's disgusting that there's even a possibility that you'll have to wait for that long. I know that I've been really unlucky, since I've pulled two, even three bonuses in less than 50 spins in this exact same piece of shit slot. And I will continue to bet on me being unlucky, instead of ranting about them lowering the chances of getting a bonus. I've previously had a couple of times where I've had to do 500-800 spins between bonuses, during the last few weeks. A couple of months ago, this was unheard of (for me). One of my last (and very few) bonuses had four retriggers (adding 60 spins!!!!) and didn't even make it to 200x.

When I FINALLY got the god damn bonus, it ended up as a 6x bonus (and that's the win for just getting the bonus). 15 dead bonus spins out of 15 spins.

Thanks alot. See you never in a few hours, you god damn perfect but asshole slot. Love ya'!

This is a known problem for all BTG games. Insane volatility, rarely bonus and even if you get a bonus its likely to pay nothing. BTG slots are the ultimate suckers bet in the slot world, but when it does pay... it can pay huge. Just go into it thinking your playing the lottery lol.

^^ I see that differently.

BTG may still have a bit of a reputation for high volatility games because of touting the potential of the Megaways engine (Bonanza)  some years ago.

Also from years ago BTG may have been considered encouraging irresponsible gambling for introducing/popularizing bonus buys (White Rabbit)
and for introducing a gamble on a bonus buy (extra Chilli)

But in years and many millions of spins the insanely big wins on BTG have been sparse, with the exception of LilDevil.
The RTP, by the way quite generous and so far only 1 RTP setting per game, has to come from somewhere..

Also there is no turbo spin on BTG slots, most of their games do not feature bonus buys and the ones that do are for max 100x .

Never thought I would defend BTG as a responsible game provider but here it is  :D

I play BTG slots often and in my opinion I get plenty of bonuses and playtime on almost all of their slots compared to slots of some other popular providers.

Some of their games do seem 'sucker bets' but that is for having to collect heartstoppers to suck you into the game, not for the huge potential.

I remember playing Rise Of Olympus and got something like 1000-1200 spins without a single bonus. Just few things to consider when playing slots

If the probability of hitting the bonus is 1/100 (I don't know that value in that specific slot but I've read somewhere that is a quite common ratio), the probability that you don't get a single bonus in 1300 spins is

(99/100)^1300 = 0,000002117156571 => about 1/480000 😂

That is the reason I stopped playing slots. It's every single time against the maths and happens too often. I don't say it's rigged, cause everybody hates that, but personally I lost interest in playing slots because of that. There's something weird happening under the hood. Still sometimes playing Crazy Time cause it's fun, but maximum 20 spins.

Good luck.

If you want quick bonuses stick to wild north and colts, danger hv normally bonuses quicker that most of the btg slots and base can pay well to, it dosnt seem as bad as countdown, funny it throws the bonus in pretty quick on king maker though 🙂

@Stevejcan you talk me through this equation you did please.

Following your formula gives me completely different results.

Also, the bonus frequency is around 1 in 248 spins so your results are off by a huge margin.

(99/100)^1300 = 0,000002117156571 => about 1/480000 😂
There is 1/20000 ish chance of missing the bonus in 1300 spins when the bonus frequency is 1 in 248

Still huge but please, factcheck a little bit, it took me 5 seconds to google "Rise of Olympus bonus frequency"

Sorry, my maths sucks

(247/248)^1300 = 0.0052342464 = about 1/200

there is a 1 in 200 chance that the next 1300 spins won't yield a bonus on a game with a bonus frequency of 1 bonus per 248 spins.

1/200 - it's going to happen quite often, 1 in every 200 people who do 1300 spins is going to do so without hitting a bonus round - it will probably be me.

Doesn't seem quite as bad as 1/480000 now does it.

Correct me if I am wrong, I really never use this kind of maths and wouldn't know if I had done something wrong, just following what SteveJ did.

Okey! Can you link me the source of that information in the specific slot?
