Rizk casino confiscated my winnings.

Hi guys I hope you are well, I start this post with tears in my eyes, I recently played with rizk casino for about two months with a total deposit amount of like 550 pounds, I finally won 2600 pounds and was super happy as I never win, withdrew the money and was over the moon. I then got a email two day’s later saying they need to verify my account and need a Id proof and a address proof, which is fine. I sent a picture of my British passport and a pdf bank statement in date. A couple days past and I received a email saying the documents have not been accepted, could I please provide a picture of me holding my passport and a new form of address proof, I then sent a hmrc letter and a picture of me holding my passport. Another couple days past and I received a 3rd email saying they have accepted the id but not the address, confused and upset, I explained I didn’t get bills as I live in the Uk and Sweden due to my family getting a divorce and my dads address I was using and living in at the time of playing ,I no longer pay bills or have post sent  there, I suffer from anxiety and depression and I explained that this whole situation is playing on my feelings ,I jumped through hoops to verify my account and I have done everything they asked. A few days later, they emailed me saying, dear me Jacobs sorry but as a casino we have decided that we will no longer like you as a customer and have decided that we cannot pay you your winnings  only the total deposit amount played. So I won 2600 pounds and they blocked my account closed it and only paid me 550 pounds, I’m really upset and hope this gets resolved rizk casino plz explain

Rizk are a great casino with withdrawals done in seconds once you have verified your account. You say you live in both the UK and Sweden so where did you win the money? While playing in the UK or Sweden? Where was your account registered? Did you use a VPN? 

If you have followed the rules then there are governing bodies which you can complain to.I am sure if you ask one of the moderators on here they will help you out.

Yes, if you were playing in the UK and your account is registered in the UK, then I suggest following the advice of the Gambling Commission, found here.

 
sounds awful mate, i'm really sorry to hear that. I understand just how this kind of thing will affect you. I hope gambling in general doesn't play on your mental health and if so I really hope you have considered that before continuing playing. that being said, as mentioned above if you have played in the UK and it is all legitimate, get in touch through one of the above links as soon as possible and get a governing body involved as what they have done is absolutely pathetic. And in my opinion you would be entitled to claim more off of them for their poor actions, because these absolute criminals of betting companies do this kind of thing far too often. I have a hatred for them.

I really hope you get the issue resolved!

They didn’t pay my winnings, I was living in the Uk at the time and won in the Uk, my vpn was on as I use it for my job in Sweden, but they claimed I was using it unfairly. They are a totally scam and if you could put a link to someone I can complain to I will appreciate it. But us small people are nothing for these big companies and no 1 cares till it happens to them. Honestly this has affected me so much.

How do I complain? They are literally thieves and us smaller people are the ones that suffer, I have stopped abit since this thanks mate. But honestly it’s affected me mentally as I was made out to be a scammer or criminal and I’m honestly the most honest person.

Using a vpn to access a casino is usually a breach of the terms and conditions. I hope you get your money but it is quite well known that vpn use can lead to confiscation and closing of an account.

You have kinda answers your own question to why they haven't paid you really you was using a vpn and in just about every casinos t&c it states that you can't use one and its not just to them being picky its to do with the licences they get from different countries like uk cant buy bonuses but if you use a vpn you would be able to set it up so you can. If you ask me risk havd been very nice paying you your deposits back as they wouldn't have to so I would take that money and run away fast

 
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do, and this is why i strongly advise against anyone using a VPN whatsoever when gambling online.

Nice that you won on @rizk though, all of my deposits there were a loss from the first few spins. I deposit about 300x / 400x worth everytime and lately never even get above my deposited value. Huge coldstreak on there making me think the casino is rigged af. Started playing a lot on other websites too and they clearly run a lot better.

Thanks for the advise i will use vpn from now on, also makes me able to play all the slots before it was very limited.
