CASUMO Doesn’t pay me $6000

Casumo closed my account with my $6000 pending. I withdrawaled $2000 just 2 hours before and the when I withdrawaled $6000 they asking for card details to verify. Submitted card details and I get confirmation from them. After couple hours check my account the money still not processed yet. And without any email notification they blocked my account. I only find out when I contacted them. They want sources of wealth from me. I deposited $6000 in the account and my winning money was $9000 but they still want to investigate the money. I showed them documents of $20000 transferred from my uncles bank to my bank. And they said they want my uncle source of wealth. Casumo doesn’t have right to investigate my uncles fund. It’s been 10 days and they barely answer my email. And this is not a good reason to blocked my account and not paying my $6000. I use my winning Money to keep playing and they still want to investigate my money. I show them documents from my uncle where the money come from. And they still ask for my Paystubs. $20000 +$9000 I won from them is not good enough to cover my $6000 that I deposited ?????they just don’t want to pay players.

Casino have to check players wealth otherwise they could be fined millions just like Mr Green did a week ago cuz of money loundering 

 
I have read some horror stories about source of wealth requests involving casumo. This is definitely not an isolated case.

It's always always initiated at time of withdrawal and never deposit. Quite outrageous really.

Correct. It's frustrating for the players, but AML (anti-money laundring) regulations require casinos to follow it unless they'll pay massive fines. In OP's case he transferred funds from his uncle - so naturally they will ask for SoW for him as well as money came from him. As long as they are aware it might as well be that his uncle obtained his funds illegally somehow. I suggest you comply with the request (don't worry, the documents are safe - GDPR ensures that).

 
I fully understand that when I get the money from my uncle as a gift I have to show them where my uncle get the money from also. I have show them my uncle took $20000 from his account at his bank as a loan. With his bank statement and they still asking me for my paystubs. I already told them from beginning that I’m not working for now. This is ridiculous when $20000 is not satisfie them when I deposited $6000 into my account and plus my $9000 I won.

I think the point here is that with Casumo this always happens at the point of withdrawal. You can deposit as much as you like and source of wealth is never a problem.

Compare that to other casinos where they ask for such source of wealth information on deposit and block you depositing if not provided (example is LV Bet where they stopped me depositing until documents were sent in).

There are loads of complaints about it elsewhere too.

Not good practice by Casumo at all and something that they should be improving on.

That right there is probably what they have issue with - gambling with a loan - no matter who takes it is a BIG no-no for a casino, so I understand why they've taken the decision, in addition with you not being employed. My advice would be to do something better with the money than to gamble it away.

Yes that's true - and this feedback has been passed on to Casumo already, hopefully things improve.

Can you still make deposits?

If you can and they are holding your withdrawal then it just shows the abhorrent behaviour by this casino.

 
Well it’s a gift from my uncle. All I need to prove to them that money is clean. And if my uncle gave me as a gift I can do anything I want with that money. They have no rights to do this if because of my uncle  took a loan and gave it to me.

I showed them my T4 which is income statement in Canada with $70000 and they said that they don’t accept this document. Because since Christmas I don’t work anymore so I don’t have payslip but this is still not a reason for them to do this. They can’t close my account that’s fine but they have to pay me.

1. Contact livechat. Try to come to a solution as it seems you're in stale-mate position.

2. Complain to MGA (https://www.mga.org.mt/support/online-gaming-support/)

3. Close the account and hope any balance in your account will be paid out regardless, as per Casumo Terms (but it might be in conflict with SoW / AML):

3.11.1. If You wish to close Your Account, You may do so at any time, either by setting the closure via the Play OK settings on Your Account or by contacting customer support on [email protected]. Any funds in the Casumo Account will be remitted to You. The effective closure of the Account will correspond to the termination of the Agreement, however any obligations already entered into shall be honoured.

Is it a big deal with that ? I can do whatever I want with my money. All I need to prove is that money clean to them. That is the point bro.

Live Chat always day they can’t look into this because another department take care of it and there is no time frame. I tried to ask them close the account and pay me my money but they said until they verified my document they can’t process my withdrawals

Wish I could help more but I gave you all 3 available options that you can explore. If 1 and 3 didn't work - go option nr.2.

 
what will happen if you gained your money,private selling a car or something like that .will you need to ask a random buyer for prof of income?

 
They all corrupt and wont do anything.

Same with me that ecogra said contact MGA and MGA said contact ecogra. MGA took 3 months to give a shit answer and ignored all my evidence

EU should take a closer look on gambling.

"representatives" doesn't care rn, but gambling is gonna be even biger problem in future.

Estonia: Online casinos have to pay for a licence. Decent sum for small country, almost all casinos prhomoted here are banned and only accesible by vpn. 

Gambling  is being taxed*

Finland: Access to almost all casinos. No Idea if online casinos are even regulated. (maybe someone could educate me)

But here's the deal - There are slot machines everywhere - grocery stores, bars, restaurants,everywhere. But coverment owns all of it, all gambling. They have been raising min age so it's 18+ now but like a decade ago there was "no" limit. They have been raising gamblers for generations now and that's why online casinos love finnish players
