Streaming through laptop challenges

I stream my slot play via a lap top and that brings its own challenges.

My internet connection is fast and so is the lap top so in terms of performance streaming the slot play is not too difficult.

However, what is a challenge is keeping track of chat (both Youtube and Twitch), your followers, your OBS performance as well as the slot play. You have only one screen after all!

This is my set up which works for me and enables to keep an eye on everything:

:

1 = a web browser with the casino. I can play and watch the slot play on it

2 = Ankhbot application. I can follow the Twitch chat through it

3 = a web browser containing the Youtube chat. I can follow it and respond if necessary

4 = a web browser showing who followed. I can greet new followers as the name pops up in this box. I can also drag the box up to see the current number of Twitch viewers

5 = OBS. I can follow the frame rates, enable/disable the microphone and switch to different layouts

Hope this helps for other streamers that face the same challenges streaming with a lap top.

Hah, I have twitch chat open, youtube chat open, obs, ankhbot and browser. I keep my browser full screen, rest I just alt+tab around the windows, guess I'm too lazy for something more haha

CPU = Intel 1.8Ghz

RAM = 16GB

GFX = NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M

nothing too special and it allows to me stream without rarely any glitches

Awesome! Thanks for the info Slotplayer! I've been considering streaming, but I am worried the hardware will not provide a good experience for the viewers Going to do a few tests now.
