SMS spam from affiliates

@spoton0 sorry to hear you're a victim aswell. Did you get any reply from keyaffiliates? I sendt them an e-mail on saturday, but i'll give them a few more days. Could you please post the repond you got, since they refuse to take action? I'd love to see how they can defend their affiliates action.

As for the other Casinos, everyone except @FrankFred Casino has not been active on the forum for a while, so dont expect any reply soon. However, Frank fred has been online several times, but seems to ignore this post. You might Wonder why...

Got the same sms and contacted frankfred. Frankfred told me its nothing they can do about it.
That is the biggest lie ever. Ofcourse they can do something about it. They can simply terminate this affiliate agreement, which removes the only reason why this person is sending you this spam SMS.

This proves that Frank & Fred casino do not care about your rights under the GDRP regulations. It's shame.

Do you have this in any written form from Frank Fred? Please if so, could you either post it here or PM me?

i lost my connection to live chat so i did not manage to screenshot the chat....since i was using my mobile..

@pausefisk They asked me for my number so they could ask their affiliate to "unsubscribe" me. How cute. When I told them I never subscribed in the first place, they simply stopped answering. Wonder how much it would cost a lawyer to see that the affiliate, affiliate site and the casinos, that are paying for this, get punished. I would for sure chip in a bit.

Hi,

Apologies for a late reply in here, but due to vacations and ICE I've been a bit Offline the last week(s).

First of all, thank you for bringing this to our attention and also including the actual URLs, it makes it much easier for us to identify the partner in questions. The responsible team has been informed and will take action towards the partner.

Lastly we'd like to apologise for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the update @FrankFred Casino.

If i may ask, how much would you dare to bet, that i would never, ever again, recieve any offer from another affiliate, regarding Frank & Fred Casino, in the future?

Would you be so sure you "fixed" this problem now, that IF this happens again, you will provide EVERY member on this forum (with an account), a 100€ gift, with 10x wager? I'd say this is a good challange, do you Accept it?

Hi,
I appreciate the effort you put in to protect your Forum.

This issue basically boils down to that somehow, these affiliates get information from people either by them signing up on Affiliate/Surveys/Dodgy Casinos or similar sites and then the Phone Number is "Out there". You can rest assured that any details provided to Frank & Fred will never be shared with a 3rd party. But once it's "Out there", these lists will be circulated by being traded or sold to other similar partners. And since it's in the individual Affiliate's interest to get "as much traffic as possible" these lists will be used for years to drive traffic to different Casinos, earning the Affiliate in question money. It's all down to money in the end. As long as it works, they will keep doing it.

The problem for us is that we have 100's of partners sending us traffic, and we get more all the time. When they register with us, our Affiliate team does a due diligence, ensuring the Partners site and/or database is "clean" and up to our standards. But there is only so much we check, and it's only so much data the partner will provide us with. And in the end, we do not control the partner's Website, Database and/or Ads. They run their business and we run ours.

So, to answer your question, No, I am not certain it's fixed and that this will never happen again. We can only take responsibility for that any partner found in breach of the terms will be dealt with.

A general rule of thumb is to never sign up with personal details to anything that looks dodgy. Even if there's a chance to win an iPhone or such. Very few businesses on the world wide web are not looking to make money. They will earn their money somehow, and this includes spamming Casino links to a database of phone numbers.

Thanks for you answer. First of all, i dont try to protect the forum, and it's sertainly not mine.

I know how the internet Works. I've been online since the 90's. I know spam is impossible to stop. That is why my fight is not against the spammer (can't fight anonymous!), but against those who leads to it, in this case Casinos.

The key issue is, like you said it yourselfe "It's all down to money in the end. As long as it works, they will keep doing it."

I like to add: as long as this have no consequences, they will keep doing it.

The Casinos has some very strict rules against us players, where e.g. a bet was played to high on a slot when playing With bonus funds, all Money will be confiscated. There is no second chance for us players. Why does the affiliate get more chances?

If there was a term saying "In case offers sent to People that did not sign up or agree to receive them, account will be closed and comission confiscated immediately".

I'm sure everyone would agree that this would stop the problem.

You can stop this - IF YOU REALLY WANT TO. End of story.

I do appreciate you replying to this post, and i hope we are working towards the same goal. Unfortunately you're not alone not having Control of Your affiliates, but i should also credit you for understanding the issue and (hopefully) wanting to do something about it.

@pausefisk now the spammer have gone from supernation affiliate to keyaffiliate. I did trace the url i got in sms

Please post a screenshot aswell, always Nice to have proof. What Casino did he spam this time???

Suprnation Affiliated did reply me back when i contacted them, i havent heard back from Keyaffiliates. I dont have a good feeling they care much for us....

Will do later when at my laptop. 21 casino... Thats why i asked about 21.
Oh i see. If you decide to sign up at 21 casino, for god sake do not use the affiliate link you got spammed. To be honest i hope you don't sign up at all considering the methods they use to get you as a customer. good luck whatever you choose.

slottyvegas is the worst site ever, they spam sms every week. I have talked to live support 3! times now and told them to remove my email and phone number from their system. Every time I get the same response, bla bla bla, yes your phone number is now removed. But nothing happens and I still get these annoying sms, and btw my Account is blocked because I am self excluded. I don't know what to do now because they just won't stop sending sms I don't want to receive. Support is more than useless, the last guy asked for my phone number and confirmed me that it is now deleted from their system, yet I received another sms today.. very bad experience with this annoying casino

Over the years I've tried to get numerous casinos to put their affiliates in check but most refuse to do so and for the life of me I don't understand why. I would understand if the referrer is hidden but I've provided the spammers referral number numerous times and most casinos flat out refuse to do anything about it.

the problem probably is that it's not slottyvegas sending you those adverts, it's someone else. They're probably speaking the truth.

Can you post a screenshot here?

I have deleted them already, since I don't want anyone to see these messages on my phone. It basically said that I have a 100% deposit bonus if I deposit now and a link to the terms. The sms before where of Freespins I had gotten for a new game release.

Ok, post next time then. I think its important to clerify if it's an affiliate who spams you, or the casino itselfe.
